Because James Nicholas Andrews based the nation off of an earlier United States, it's FPTP, although like all things, that is subject to change if say, some kind of mad dictator were to take power.

Accepted. Was the inclusion of being born in Indianapolis an allusion to my character's birthplace?Terrelis wrote:Will we be writing the constitution or is it written already?

Well, a government is based on a constitution. Without constitution, you can't really have a state. So, we probably have a constitution already, and it probably looks more continental than American. Well, at least in the way it looks. The US constitution is an old document, written in the spirit of the age, and a lot has happened since. Our constitution would look more modern, yet with the same values entrenched. It would depend on what Andrews decided on in the beginning.
EDIT: I would be willing to write a bit of constitution based on the ones I have more intricate knowledge of.

We don't have a constitution, hence the reason for my post, Neo said we have to write the constitution. I think we should at least start brainstorming some ideas for the government even if we don't write the whole constitution OOC.
