What have you learnt after reading the AN’s factbooks? III

So, the Lord-Emperor's Armed Forces (LEAF) is split int 4 branches, the Army (ground forces, i assume), the Navy (meaning it is bordering a large enough body of water and has an adequate coastline for it, unless it is pulling a Bolivia on us, which is highly unlikely), the Airforce (which is called the Aerial Division), and the Techical Division (which, my guess, would be dealing in cybersecurity and all things relating to Information Technology).

It is likely that Saas, the eldritch horror, was a software-as-a-service gone rogue and symbolizes the entropy that comes along with a long-running system of that size. Yet somehow, it is a functional being that can do anything. How? "Trust me, darling," it would say.

AN: It can be argued that the Stargun is the epitome of fusion technology used in warfare. Focused in to a beam, the energy output of an entire stare bores on the unfortunate target.

Shortly after the time of the Arkess, the language was more than likely the same among all of the seven cities in the time before modern Diarcesia. We know that if workers from other regions were grabbed by Old Diarcesian companies, they would likely feel isolated because language is both a skill and source of identity, thus making this environment exclusionary. Taking this with a grain of salt, there was probably an unspoken lingua franca with no room for exception known among the seven cities instead of a development of in-between groups between dominant and marginal language groups.

Then, the local Communist Party threw a shitfit during the Gorbachev era and as such the Communist Party prevented democratisation and, unlike Asian Ex-Soviet States, didn't even make up a new "nationalist" face: as a result, Baltinica is the last surviving totalitarian state in modern day Europe.

Couple things off the bat: AN loves emojis. Having a population of just over a billion people yet a military consisting of 14,000,000 personnel (reservists included) and a GDP of 70+ trillion combined with an HDI of 66 would suggest AN is a hyper-advanced militaristic utopia from the future considering that HDI only goes up to 1. AN's historical records are possibly missing several rulers, as the first ruler of Valeland (a kingdom that inhabited the territory which AN currently sits on) Cyrus has a 250+ year gap between him and the next king Josephe.

AN's military seems to use a mix of equipment from all around the world, as looking at their equipment names suggests they are using Chinese, Soviet, German, French, and British military equipment. One curious tidbit I noticed is that all of AN's small jet aircraft are all legacy aircraft primarily from the 60's and 70's such as the MiG-21 and the Mirage 5. This suggests their airforce is terribly out of date, even by the standards of a country like North Korea.

Oh, and their bloodline nearly went extinct due to inbreeding in the 1500's.

It was unified in 1939 in the month of July. Eurasia has the largest economy in the world in terms of GDP and, it is dependent on nuclear power and oil for it's energy.

As a matter of fact, I do know that there is a separate war flag from AN's which is mostly purple but I don't know whether the "colors" also being purple means that the armed forces also wear purple. Yes, no, maybe so?

Unlike the various Rhanukhani Dynasties that rarely lasted more than a couple of centuries, House Veré has ruled Lethinia since 1543 with the Empress Alisia being the current monarch. She presently has no children, so perhaps she will need to appoint a successor from among the nobles in much the same way as her own ancestor attained the throne and founded her Dynasty?

That the Rhanukhan alphabet has 36 letters, it used to be 24 and three characters have been added to allow for better translation into English. Not only this but the country doesn't just have multiple ethnicities but multiple species including AI life.
