The accordion is a very underrated instrument. Like it doesn't get a lot credit for how good it can be. The original song is a classic, and this does a good job of conveying that. 8/10

Cyptopir - It sounds like the background music from the wipE′out″ games back in the day (do they still make those?) - just listening out for my onboard computer telling me what weapon upgrade I picked up on that last bend ;) I'm not sure that it's the sort of thing I'd listen to regularly for its own sake, but this track was short enough to enjoy. Extra point for that bit of nostalgia - 7/10

Imsalia - Intriguing, there's a mix of things in there - some parts sound like a vintage horror film soundtrack, some parts demonstrably more current. It has a certain eerie discomfort to it initially before the halfway sudden shift to something much more pounding and heavy. I wondered if there was going to be one last surprise towards the end, but no - just the fadeout - 6/10 overall



And since I was clearly skipped by Meretica, let's try my earlier post again...

I feel bad for saying this, but I found it too simple and repetitive, but not to an annoying extent like the Macarena. Is it a love song? I'm not sure, but I felt nothing. 4.5/10: Vastly better than the Macarena.

Once I learned the lyrics to this one, it forced me to do some deep introspection as I continue to figure myself out.

the instrumental sounds ripped straight from prog rock's heyday in the 70's, which i like quite a lot. the vocals, ehh, really not a fan of them. a bit too theatrical for my tastes. probably 6/10, maybe a 7 on a good day.
