Arne Sørenson (35) - Revolutionary Socialist Party
Account Name: Lykens
Occupation: Member of the Folketing, Pimp, Shepherd
Party Position(s):Vanguard member
Positions in Government:N/A
Constituency: Bodø
Political Ideology: Marxism-Leninism
Family: Estranged brother Hans, 38
Background: Arne Sørenson was born to Norwegian immigrants in Bodø on March 4, 1980. Both of his parents either left him and his brother for dead, or died of some mysterious illness, no one knows which, and most village elders are mum about the mysterious Sørenson couple. The local village old lady took the brothers in, and as a whole the community of Norwegian immigrants raised the two, due to them being the first natural born members of their newfound ‘colony’.
After primary education, Arne traveled to Höfnin af Hetjunum to study for a degree in political science and some obscure degree that focuses on sheep husbandry. While at the university, the already left leaning Sørenson was exposed to people who were previously deemed too far to the left for him to interact with in his youth. Without the social constraints of his village, he openly embraced Marxism-Leninism and sought to bring economic equality to the people he loved in Bodø, who had always been on the poor side and always been spurned with requests for more aid.
Upon graduation, he returned to Bodø, and began to assemble a base for his political ambitions. He came out as gay around 2004 and then conveyed the message of Marx and Lenin to his people in a series of passionate and exciting lectures, Arne was always a good public speaker and made great use of this skill, and slowly began to change minds, or at least the more malleable ones, and began to spread the message across the district he resided in. Always one to look for the next peg on the ladder of power, it didn't take long for Arne to become a respected leader in the local government. His youth and knowledge built off of the connections he built during his youth, and he soon became a relatively successful shepherd, owning close to sixty five hundred acres of land to the north of the village, where he personally oversees his flock of five hundred or so Corriedales. He is assisted in this duty by his four komondorok LGDs, Bjorn, Anders, Ronja, and Lykke. In addition to those four, he has four herding dogs, two Border Collies who act as headers, Hedda and Sverre, and two Old English Sheepdogs who act as heelers, Odin and Karoline. He owns a thoroughbred horses, Håkon, and two Jutlands, Maud and Olav.
After his thirtieth birthday, Arne purchased more sheep, and decided it was time to jump into the big leagues, and make a run for national office. He succeeded in becoming the Member of the Folketing for Bodø for the Folketing of Dagmar. He joined the Revolutionary Socialist Party, and quickly became a leading member of it, thanks to his friendship with Lawspeaker Mennjegersson.
In his spare time, Arne is a high class pimp who employs several dozen men and women who are paid top dollar to provide companionship to rich lonely individuals.
Faith: Agnostic.
Likes: Sarcasm, Sheep husbandry, tall men, earl grey tea, parliamentary procedure, power, Sheep are better than people, LGBT Rights, debate, horseback riding, bread, wool sweaters, blankets, pillows, sleep, books, politics, Beyoncé, horse racing
Dislikes: You, your family, people, annoying people, stupid people, ugly people, fish, ignorant people, you, cabbage, urban lifestyle, champagne socialists, franch, alcohol, tobacco, smoking

Bodø
Account Name: Lykens
Elected Representative: Arne Sørenson
Population: 4,927
Ethnic Composition:73% Norwegian
25% Dagmari
2% Other
Background: Bodø was founded on July 15, 1940 by a group of nine hundred Norwegian refugees whose homes had been destroyed by the Luftwaffe attack of their home village Bodø, Norway. With Norway under Nazi control, and reluctant to go to Sweden or the United Kingdom, the refugees travelled across the Norwegian Sea to the Dagmari states, settling in the northern portion of the northernmost state, Várifriki.
Left mostly to their own affairs, the refugees set about building a new way of life, reminiscent of the one torn from them. With wide open fields, tautersheep, a hardy breed suited for the tough climate of the far north, with a fine wool that could fetch a hefty profit once shorn. With the village being constructed, and sheep being transported in regularly, prospects for the newly arrived settlers looks good. Enough homes were built to house all of the refugees by November 1943, although dozens had died from illness, malnutrition, and other accidents. With what looked to be a booming wool demand from the war, the refugees began an expansive breeding program with the several hundred head of tautersheep they had procured.
Germany was defeated less than six months later, and the refugees quickly fell into debt, and the tautersheep program was disbanded and neglected. As the tautersheep in Várifriki were the only group outside of Tautra, Norway, it is considered to be a major factor in their later extinction in 1959. The last tautersheep were sold for slaughter or sent back to Norway in 1953, and the village lost many of its original inhabitants, until only three hundred of the original refugees were left. Most of the original inhabitants had fled Norway in their mid to late teens, and as such, there were no native born Várifrikin-Norwegians. Shunned by the local and state governments, they turned back to the motherland, seeking assistance from the Norwegian government.
The conservative leaning inhabitants looked upon the Labour government with disdain, and opted to stay in wretched conditions instead. Seeing Bodø as a possible conservative haven, droves of Norwegians immigrated there. Among them, the Sørenson family. The mysterious Sørensons would later have the first and second native born Várifrikin-Norwegians, only to disappear shortly after. The village of approximately one thousand collectively took care of the two boys, for they would be their conduit to a government that was so far negligent of them.
Hans would later become a moderately successful lawyer in Ryttaren, abandoning Bodø for a pursuit of a better life for himself. His brother Arne, however, stayed in the village and returned upon completing his time at university. He helped build up the local economy by reintroducing sheep husbandry, albeit more guardedly and better planned, and became a respected member of the local government, soon rising to represent Bodø nationally.
He was elected in a landslide after Bodø was granted its own district, having been lumped with Freyrbœr to the south for decades to dilute the power of the majority Norwegian area.
