Section 1 - Repeals
a) Declares article one regarding minimum wage of The Commerce Ministry Act null and void.

Section 2 - Definitions
a) Standard wage shall be defined as standard income per hour.
b) Minimum wage shall be defined as wage per hour that is mandated that all employers pay employees under their employment in cases except volunteers.
c) Volunteers shall be defined as individuals who are volunteering without any momentary or material compensation.
d) Volunteering shall be defined as an activity done with intention of promoting goodness, improving human quality of life, gaining contacts, gaining work experience or skills et al.
e) Apprentice shall be individual not in full time education, working alongside experienced staff to gains job-specific skills while studying towards a related qualification.

Section 3 - Minimum wage
a) Minimum wage for any individual under age of sixteen shall be 50% of standard wage per hour.
b) Minimum wage for any individual above age of sixteen but under age of twenty one shall be 79% of standard wage per hour.
c) Minimum wage for any individual above age of twenty one shall be 100% of standard wage per hour.
d) Minimum wage for apprentices under age of eighteen shall be 49% of the standard wage per hour; all other apprentices shall be entitled to minimum wage corresponding to their age.

Section 4 - Standard income
a) Standard income shall be defined as one of the following, which ever is higher:

i) Income necessary for a person working forty hours a week, with no additional income to afford the basics for quality of life; i.e. food, utilities, transport, health care, and minimal recreation, one course a year to upgrade their education and childcare
ii) atleast £1000 above living wage calculated by living wage commission paid per calender year.

b) Living wage commission shall be entrusted with calculating the value for section 4ai.

I ABSTAIN on the current vote. While I condemn PAFLA with my fullest concern for their future actions, even if now weakened, and disgust for their past actions, offering my condolences once again to the families of the victims, we must recognise that many other organisations were involved in the attack and contributed to the bloodshed.

I like to assume that the PAFLA fell apart when CTALNH left the country.

I am not sure that it is, granted it may be too weak to be significant threat at the present moment however I am not sure if a terrorist group ever truly disintegrates. Members of PAFLA when CTALNH was around could theoretically reorganise if they find a sponsor...

Noting that a changing world requires new energy solutions,

Realizing that energy would be saved by switching to Compact Fluorescent Lamps and other more energy efficient lighting.

Hereby passes the following,

Section 1: Definitions
Incandescent Light Bulbs are light bulbs which produce light by running an electric current through a filament wire, usually made of Tungsten, thus heating it to a high temperature. The bulb itself is typically filled with a Noble Gas, such as Argon.

Section 2: Ban on Manufacture
By January 1st, 2016, any and all factories or other businesses producing incandescent light bulbs of any wattage will cease producing them.

Section 3: Ban on Import
By January 1st, 2016, incandescent light bulbs will no longer be permitted to be imported from abroad and sold in Aurentina.

Section 4: Exceptions
After January 1st, 2016, the Minister of Energy may allow up to ten bulbs specific wattages to be imported or manufactured for alternative needs such as incubation, heated tanks for reptiles, Easy Bake Ovens, etc.

RECOGNISING: That the Ministry of Culture and Sports, alongside the Ministry of Customs, represents an unnecessary bureaucracy which could be far more efficiently handled by other departments within the government.

THEREFORE: Passes the Limitation of Bureaucracy Act to eliminate aforementioned unnecessary bureaucracy and create a more efficient government.


Article I.
Abolition of the Ministry of Culture and Sports
I. Hereby dissolves the Ministry of Culture and Sports, striking the following line - "The Ministry of Culture and Sports, with the task of protecting the cultural heritage of the country, promoting cultural and sportive activities and expression, manage cultural and sports agencies and organizations." - from the Ministry Foundation Act and declaring that line to be null and void.
II. Transfers all powers and personnel of the former Ministry of Culture and Sports, that were involved in education related tasks, to the Ministry of Education and allows the leadership of the former Ministry of Culture and Sports to allocate the appropriate funds for such a change
III. Therefore transcends all other powers and personnel of the former Ministry of Culture and Sports to local governments, to be divided as the leadership of the former Ministry of Culture and Sports seems fit
IV. Recommends all employees displaced by such transfers for preference upon application for vacant positions in government, if they apply within their speciality

I. Hereby dissolves the Ministry of Customs, declaring the executive order that established it to be null and void.
II. Establishes the Department of Customs and Immigration, under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of the Interior
III. Transfers all powers, personnel and finances of the former Ministry of Customs to the Department of Customs and Immigration

STATING: That such transfers have already been established in practice through executive decree, but shall be immediately corrected if this bill is to be struck down.

Since NB asked us as president when he wrote the bill nobody has ICly asked either in public or in private who was behind the attacks or how far on our investigations are. So we are just quietly getting on with it.

Reformation of Government Act

However Understanding that the system created by the act is no longer effective and is needed of replacement.

Section I - Repeal of the MFA
1. The Ministry Foundation Act is hereby repealed and its content rendered null and void.
Section II - Establishment of the Cabinet
1. The Cabinet of the Commonwealth of Aurentina shall be formally established .

a) The cabinet shall be lead by the Head of Government.
b) The Head of Government shall have the power to appoint and dismiss members of the cabinet.
c) The Head of Government shall be the Prime Minister.
d) The cabinet shall be made up of the Prime Minister, the Deputy Prime Minister, the Secretary of State for the Interior, the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, the Secretary of State for Finance, the Secretary of State for Labour, the Secretary of State for Education, the Secretary of State for Health, the Secretary of State for Defence, the Secretary of State for the Environment, the Secretary of State for Culture, the Secretary of State for Research and the Secretary of State for Transportation.
e) No more members of the cabinet may be appointed without the permission of the senate.

Section III - Reformation of Government
1. The Ministry of the Interior is formally established and shall deal with all matters concerning law enforcement, immigration, justice and security.

a) The Ministry of the Interior shall be lead by the Secretary of State for the Interior.
b) The position of the Secretary of State for the Interior shall be mandated to be filled.
c) The Secretary of State for the Interior shall have the power to appoint the Law Enforcement Minister, the Immigration Minister, the Justice Minister and the Security Minister.
d) The Law Enforcement Minister shall be in charge of law enforcement agencies and events, but shall not have the power to overrule the orders of the Interior Minister.
e) The position of the Law Enforcement Minister shall not be mandated to be filled.
f) The Immigration Minister shall be in charge of immigration agencies and events, but shall not have the power to overrule the orders of the Secretary of State for the Interior.
g) The position of the Immigration Minister shall not be mandated to be filled.
h) The Justice Minister shall be in charge of judicial agencies and events, but shall not have the power to overrule the orders of the Secretary of State for the Interior.
i) The position of the Justice Minister shall not be mandated to be filled.

8. The Ministry of Environment is formally established and shall deal with all matters concerning the environment and energy.

c) The Secretary of State for the Environment shall have the power to appoint the Energy Minister.

9. The Ministry of Culture is formally established and shall deal with all matters concerning culture, media and sport

a) The Ministry of Culture shall be lead by the Secretary of State for Culture.

c) The Secretary of State for Culture shall have the power to appoint the Media Minister and the Sports Minister.
d) The Media Minister shall be in charge of media agencies and events (including telecommunications), but shall not have the power to overrule the orders of the Secretary of State for Culture.

f) The Sports Minister shall be in charge of sport agencies and events, but shall not have the power to overrule the orders of the Secretary of State for Culture.

a) The Ministry of Transportation shall be lead by the Secretary of State for Transportation.

11. The Ministry of Research is formally established and shall deal with all matters concerning research and astronomy.

a) The Ministry of Research shall be lead by the Secretary of State for Research.

c) The Secretary of State for Research shall have the power to appoint the Astronomy Minister.
d) The Astronomy Minister shall be in charge of astronomy agencies and events, but shall not have the power to overrule the orders of the Secretary of State for Resarch.

Section IV - On Previously Passed Bills
1. All bills previously passed by the senate that refer to any of the previous titles belonging to members of the cabinet shall be interpretation as the relevant new title.
