I have searched the security council for over 5 minutes. And yet there is no such stuff like the Geneva Convention to limit the type of weapons that can be used, can be used in some circumstances and are banned. So I think it is time for some changes.
Obviously, this is a simulation, not real life. Therefore, I will make the list smaller than the one IRL (In Real Life).
So, here is the list:
Weapons that are banned/prohibited:
1, Bio-weapons ( AKA any harmful biological agents that is used as a weapon of war)
reason: the weapon have the risk of spreading to the civilians and possibly to other neutral countries.
2, Chemical weapons (AKA any chemicals used as a weapon of war)
reason: same as bio-weapons.
3, Non-Detectable Fragments (AKA weapons that release shrapnels that cannot be detected by X-ray or any stuff used in surgery)
reason: causing unnecessary pain to the victim.
Weapons that are limited to their usage:
1, incendiary and napalm bombs (AKA weapons that set fire to anything, minus flamethrowers)
reason: causing unnecessary harm to the victim.
circumstances which is legal to use it: Either theres no other way to drive the enemy out of their bunker or that it is used for clearing out large
areas. However, they must be kept away from civilian areas at all cost.
2, cluster munitions
reason: high risk of failing then accidentally explode a few years or decades later.
circumstances which is legal to use it: Clear out a large area. But must be away from civilian areas at all cost
IF THIS RESOLUTION IS PASSED, THEN:
The security council will put an eye on countries that are currently at war with each other so that they don't break the rules of this resolution.
This is my first ever resolution to the security council, so please be kind to new people, thank you all very much.
