[SUBMITTED] Condemn VULPINE

Postby Skalliad » Tue Feb 13, 2024 11:33 am

I know there is already another similar resolution:

viewtopic.php?f=24&t=546229

But despite that, I tried to write another one with better quality. This is my first attempt at writing a resolution, so any criticism and suggestions are welcome.

It’s submitted so suggestions are superfluous. Yes the quality is better than the one already submitted, but that’s a very, very low bar.

I can tell you now your attempt will not pass. The SC is not going to Condemn a one-hit wonder.

For posterity here’s your badge hunt.

The Security Council,

Recognizing the fact that the barbaric crimes committed by the VULPINE raiding region in Europe cannot remain unnoticed by the World Assembly, this resolution is intended to alert all nations about them, and to strongly condemn them in order to prevent their recurrence.

Acknowledging that they were committed in cooperation with other raiding regions such as Kantrias, The Brotherhood of Malice, Astoria, Sparkalia, Lair of the Dragon, and The Black Hawks, the latter of which were condemned by SC Resolutions #52 and #217.

Condemning that nearly 1000 nations in Europe have been destroyed or harmed by the actions of VULPINE and their allies, despite Europe's neutral status, which is a blatant violation of interregional peace and the rights of all affected intelligent beings who lived or are living in the region.

Noting that Europe is one of the most ancient, largest, and most influential regions that contributes immensely to the world's economy, culture, and politics, and has a huge influence in the World Assembly through the efforts of their delegate.

Warns that the atrocities perpetrated by VULPINE and their allies were done with special guile and hypocrisy, using their secret agent, a nation that gained the trust of European nations, and at the last moment betrayed the entire region.

Hereby, condemns VULPINE.

Edit: and there’s a school of thought that Europe’s lax security was as much a contribution to the raid as the undercover work by Vulpine.

Well, because of the lack of experience, that's expected. Thanks for the feedback.

I relied on the following phrase, so this region can still be used: "Perhaps someday VULPINE shall return...". One way or another, it is up to the Security Council to decide.

That's true. It would be foolish to hide what this resolution was created for. But to be even more honest, almost every player wants to do something for their nation, the whole NationStates is built on that.

This is also true, as some people are unhappy with EuroFounder, but this resolution is not about that, it is only about the raid.

Why not condemn Wasc, the player behind the operation, rather than a random memorial region she owns for a singular raid event?
