a
Category: Repeal| Resolution SCR #361
The Security Council,
Recognizing the historic nature of Declaration of Hippopotamuses as among the first declarations approved by the Security Council.
Further recognizing the important history of hippopotamus-related legislation by the World Assembly.
Acknowledging the declaration rightly recognizing that some hippopotamuses are quite large.
Noting that within the multitude of nations represented in the World Assembly there are many other non-sapient animals which may also be classified as quite large.
Questioning why a hippopotamus should specifically be included in a declaration of the World Assembly.
Concerned that despite the claims of the declaration, there are, in fact, species of hippopotamus which are classified as pygmies reaching maximum heights of 100 centimeters, lengths of 175 centimeters, and masses of 275 kilograms.
Wondering if the declaration is inaccurate why it should remain on the record of The World Assembly.
Hereby Repeals Declaration on Hippopotamuses.
