I'm sorry, but after I revised and made it a Commendation, there wasn't much brouhaha about it until now. I know using a "court-of-public-opinion" argument isn't great, but the people that said to go for it can't ALL be crazy... can they be?

The intent isn't to dismiss the Condemnation. It's to Commend a nation that has been Condemned (an interesting circumstance that warrants full explanation of his situation). The original title for this thread was "Repeal 'Condemn Omigodtheykilledkenny'". There was much objection to the very thought that this was even being proposed again, especially by me. Especially since Kenny nearly blew up the Security Council when I tried that last time.

This is a unique circumstance, since Kenny has already been condemned. I am stating that, in spite of all of these condemnable actions, Kenny deserves a Commendation for the other two things.

I was referring to the "there is no black or white, just grey" argument I was using in commend TBR, not the idea of commending a condemned region.

At any rate, the author might not be aware that many SC members do not consider managing stickies and writing resolutions to be commendable activities. Moreover, my unpopularity among the GP brass, stemming from my prior roles in several high-profile raids and getting Rule IV implemented, pretty much ensures that any attempt to commend me is dead in the water. (There is a reason that they have already voted down three repeals by hefty margins.)

But that's exactly the reason why I want this proposal to come to vote.

The idea behind this proposal is that n00bs would be the primary supporters.
