C&Cs usually are reserved for more "serious" in-game transgressions – like being a raider, or friends of a raider, or associating raiders, with DEN or friends of DEN or anyone who's seen the "Sound of Music" more than 12 times....but now we're going after someone because of actions in their fictional off-site role play. As to the "off-site" crack I'll simply point you to the URL address for these forums; all carried out on nationstates.net...decidedly not off-site. However, numerous GP-based resolutions (the only ones you seem to think merit SC attention) are based on off-site activities, such as actions taken on regional and alliance forums. Would you mind explaining some of those?

My point was missed, so I'll try and make this clear with this "crack": I'd prefer that C&Cs be reserved for cases of serious or meritorious actual NS gamemap transgressions/achievements only, not off-site forums, and not chucked-out eagerly and blithely at every misstep or quasi-good deed. In handing C&Cs out like candy at Halloween for every dumb reso that's written, this body has made the C&C a worthless and pointless affectation.

The SC made the right call this time around. Apply these only when absolutely deserved and warranted. Make them rare and meaningful.

Bullshit. You were looking down your nose on it because it was based on roleplay, like silly GP elitists always do in the SC, because they think it should be reserved exclusively for them. Well it's not...and in case you missed it the last three times it was explained to you (by me and others), the actions detailed in this condemnation were not offsite. They occurred in the official NationStates forums.
