He actually has a pretty good reputation. Probably the most favorably viewed invader in NS currently. Of course, with the return of Severisen to TBH, EWS will have steep competition.

He was referring to Kaboomlandia, the author.

I could support a commending of EWS if there was proper content to back it, not sure were quite to that point though, a condemnation might be better.

Against. Even among raiders, he isn't particularly prolific.

Additionally, if being helpful, authoring guides, etc were enough to warrant a commendation, many other individuals would have one.

EDIT: It's lacking almost entirely in content, and what content is there isn't particularly noteworthy.

This is true. Unfortunately this commendation reads as another " badge at any price" attempt by Kaboomlandia - minimal content, almost zero research. I suspect that he will now drop this given the criticisms in this thread. That's his usual modus operandi.

That's just straight up wrong. Souls is one of the most prominent raiders in the game right now, being the de facto leader of The Black Hawks and a well-respected figure in many other raider circles is definitely what I'd consider "prolific".

On that we can agree. It really is a shame that prolific raiding history isn't present in this travesty. It's times like this when I really miss Skydip. There was someone who could write a condemnation.

These clauses are almost redundant.

And this draft was all but dead. Why did you feel the need to revive it for no apparent purpose?

It was still on the front page of the SC, near the top even. I guess things move slower here. Sorry.

To throw another opinion in here, most of the other raider types that have been commended, were not commended for raiding. They have had complicated careers that involved an awful lot more, including acts that fall within the traditional scope of commendable activities.

And ouch Tano. It wasn't dead for /that/ long. :P
