The reason for my access being removed was me getting access to the FRA intel forum. Something which wasn't exactly public knowledge, member lists are in those classified forums. I'd look up the relevant PMs between myself and Grub, but I have been banned from the forum ever since Sedge did his little stunt in the South Pacific. And apparently Sedge and I are the same person.
Please allow me to respond to the points you raised in the following order (roughly chronological)
1) That you were removed from TITO after a very short stint in it
- Contrary to popular belief I did not manage TITO alone. It was agreed by all officers that you didn't fit well in TITO. So we thought it was better to end the association early rather than late. I still believe that was the right decision to make for all involved. You were given the "Allied military" masking instead, so you could join us to defend in TITO missions while not having to follow orders or be restricted by our rules.
2) That your "Allied military" access was subsequently rescinded
- I can't remember the exact duration but I believe we gave you that mask for at least one year. During that time, there were a number of incidents that happened which made us revise that mask. In the first place, you were not using the access to organize joint missions or share intel with us, which was the original intent behind "Allied military" access. You did join us for one or two missions but that was about it, usually after messages to you by Ananke or me. Its worthy to note that access to TITO is not given out easily. Only very few outsiders have had it and no one should expect to keep "Allied military" indefinitely. There were other cases similar to yours including various Texas attaches and ex-TITO like Petal. If memory serves correct, NC and Merlion were also given the mask for some time, and their masks were changed to Friends of 10000 Islands when they no longer needed access to organize missions with TITO.
I believed Grub communicated that to you when he changed your mask, since he handled all mask changes and I didn't. However, if no one told you about it, I do apologize. It was bad communication on our part and somebody should have PM you. We were not obliged to tell you why, but we should at least told you that it changed.
3) That you were subsequently banned from 10KI's forum
- This happened after the previous events, and was triggered by your insertion into 10KI's quarrel with Guy after he joined Europeia and TRR.
4) That I wasn't a good diplomat
- I readily agree that foreign affairs was not my forte. It was not something I did for fun, I took on the role of a diplomat only as a duty to the regions I served. Saying I was a great diplomat would be doing an injustice to the true diplomats behind 10KI's and Yggdrasil's success such as Markanite, Ananke, Minna, Zybodia, Trav-coch and others. In my long career in gameplay I could only count two achievements - the first being a revival of relations with Texas which I pushed for in 2009 (10KI-Texas relations had fallen by the wayside after some misunderstandings before my time), and the second being the normalization of ties with The Pacific in 2012 after more than 8 years of non-communication.
Other things the authors listed such as reaching out and working with TYW, Pacific Defenders, Zurich, FRA etc. happened early in my career and did not last beyond 2 or 3 years. This wasn't anybody's fault. It was a function of 10KI's size. When you grow big, there are more matters to attend to internally and you have less time for external relations. You become more self-sufficient in day-to-day operations and as a result you perform fewer joint missions. Other friendships I've gained were generally with natives TITO defended or regions 10KI and Yggdrasil were already friendly with. That owed much more to the hardwork of the people around me like our ambassadors, our delegates, and the other TITO defenders, rather than myself.
I would urge the authors to consider rephrasing that.
