A resolution to express shock and dismay at a nation or region.

Description: This capitalist region has tortured nations from start to end, this practice has been going on for age's, hidden be hide the face of good lies a vile evil region. I say we launch a investigation in to this matter, and thus we will try them in the court of law, so we must understand why this region is bad again.

Condemn Vandengaarde
A resolution to express shock and dismay at a nation or region.

Description: This proposal has been written to bring a nation to justice in NationStates highest court.
The nation, Vandengaarde, has been brought before the Security Council on the following charges.
1. He has interfered and destroyed peace operations between the regions of The Democratic Socialist Alliance and the New Union of Socialist Nations (NUSN)
2. He has displayed complete disrespect towards every nation in the NUSN, calling one nation a backstabbing liar and the founder incompetent, incapable of leading, idiotic, and pathetic.
3. He has spammed the regional message boards of the of the NUSN and has threatened to invade the region and destroy it.
4. His puppet, whom has also been brought forward for condemnation, spammed the regional message board of the United Socialist Coalition (USC), a region that is headquarters to a regional alliance between all socialist nations, an alliance meant to achieve peace.
5. He has also sent telegram threats to destroy the USC, which again is a peaceful operation.
Thus, Vandengaarde is hereby condemned due to misconduct and disrespect towards nations and regions alike.

It has come to the attention of several nations, that the region The Axis of Evil has taken itself too far by attacking and sucessfuly capturing 15 regions, including the region passed in Security Council Resolution No. 11, Liberate Democratica
ALSO recognizing that The Axis of Evil has stricken fear into the hearts of founderless or defenseless regions with no way to defend themselves.
ALSO remembering the violent attacks on the 15 captured regions ended with the attackers (The Axis of Evil) overwhelming the defenders before they could send out distress signals to The Ten-Thousand-Island-Treaty-Organization, The Founderless Region Alliance, and other defense organizations.

Not quite sure just how things work on this side of the WA, but this seems bloody stupid to me. No reason is given other than the standard "I HATEZ NOTZEES" unsupported baloney. Somebody uses the word "nazi" in the name of their nation...oh noez!...we MUST condemn them because this is not a roleplaying game and they muct obviously be a real nazi!
While we are at it, lets just blacklist every actor who has ever played a nazi in the movies and TV, destroy the molds for every WW2 German model airplane, armoured vehicle or ship, and prosecute any wargamer who takes the German side in a WW2 simulation. And those historical re-enactors who wear German uniforms? Well, they are the biggest nazis of all!! They ought be taken out and shot!
Right? or is that a bit over the top? Yes? Well, as far as I am concerned, it makes about as much sense as these ill-advised, poorly written, unthinking condemnations of ROLEPLAYERS who RP a fascist style nation. As in, none at all, no common sense spotted.

RECOGNIZING that The United States of Grub is the founder of 10000 Islands.
HOWEVER Grub has ruled 10000 Islands by claiming a spot as Commander in Chief only because they are founder.
NOTING the existance of the defender group TITO (Ten Thousand Islands Treaty Orginization).
APPALLED however that Grub was named Commander in Chief of TITO and that there Constitution clearly states that no act can overrule him.
REALIZING that Grub is one of the nine members of 10000 Islands' Council of Nine (Co9 or CoN) which comprises four senators, the founder and delegate, and the ministers of Immigration, Labor, and Education.
NOTING that only these nine nations are permitted to vote on day to day issues.
DISGUSTED that Grub appoints (without any objection possible) the Minister of Labor, Education, and Immigration.
APPALLED that Grub also has the sole power to appoint people to lower positions (without any objection) such as Taco Islands Mayor, Dean of XKI University, and Regional Reserve Chairman.
FURTHER ANGERED by the fact that he has veto power on more or less every issue that occurs in these positions.
DISGUSTED that he has developed a habit of banning any nation saying they are a former invader on the forums.
ADMITTING that 10000 Islands could have passed there constitution differently.
HOWEVER acusing Grub of not stepping down even though there is clear evidence that he has too much power for not being elected.
DISGUSTED FURTHER that Grub has become one of the most powerful nations in the world (as 10000 Islands is one of the most active regions) without an election.

Argument: Recalling Nazi Europe was condemned in July 2009, when the Security Council was still a new body of legislators unsure of the wisest and most responsible way to use its own powers,
Observing that the author of the resolution, FlagThe TEP Magister of TannerFrankLand has since admitted that the introduction of the resolution was in error, and the result of a misunderstanding between Nazi Europe and another region, and not that it was an ignorant move.
