The law regarding sexual majority in Rumbria however is not just some arbitrary line in the sand, as it appears to be in many other nations. Instead, it merely governs the operation of presumption's of law. In cases regarding the potential sexual abuse of a person below the 'age of consent', the parents and the child him/herself have title to bring an action to the court whereby various factors regarding the childs mental state will be examined by court psychologists. In cases brought by the parents, the burden of proof shifts dependant on the age of the child:

12 years and above: Presumed that full consent is given
Between 7 and 11 : onus is on parents to prove that the child has not consented
Lower than age 7 : onus on the parties to the relationship to prove consent was given
