Some Children who are desperate to get in the military or excel in Physical achievement are conscripted into the military at the age of 18. 17 if they want to volunteer. 16 with the parent’s consent and in person signature at the recruiting office.

Equipment: Army-
The Arivadian army uses developed nations by the arms manufactionaring industry. Its main weapon is the M-47 a combination of the Ak-47 and the M-16. Also the M-09 is used. It is a remake of the M-16 with Upgrades like more resilient to weather. Also the Rhig weapon system is used by the special forces.
Navy- The Navy uses all kind of ships. From Nimitz carriers to Ticonderoga missile cruisers. It is small compared to other navies. For other navies have 3,000+. The Arivadian navy’s flagship is the USS Enterprise. Which is now head of the Nationalist/Democrat fleet? The one and only joint party fleet in the entire military. The Enterprise was once the flagship of the grand fleet.
Air Force-The air force uses some pre made fighters and some newly developed ones. It’s main fighter is the F-09 followed by the SB-71 Each fighter piliot is allowed to customize his plane as he pleases. From new weapons to new engines. But he is on a limited budget. He is given only 500,000 dollars to upgrade. More if he does an excamlory job in his work. Ammunition is provided for free.

Nationalist sentinels-Numbers 1,000-It is the same thing as the Presidential guard except protects and serves the generals and government people on the battlefeild.
Special Forces- Numbers 300,000(1 Million when reserves are pulled up) It is a combination of the nationalist forces and former Democrat forces. 10,000 men are Nationlist,10,000 Democrat’s. They are the best armed, best trained and most confident in the entire Arivadian army.
Special Forces:The special forces gets the latest equipment. Their armor is made of modern composites like Boran Carbide(OOC:Thanks GWO for telling me that).Their main weapon is the Rhig Weapon system.

Ancient Era- In the ancient era city states similar to Sparta and Athens were tired of raids. They made the bold move to unify as a country. The first the world. Of course nations later to seek colonies were unaware. The Arivadian Republic as it was then known started troubled. IT had no army of only its former city states The laws that it had were weak and most were useless. Then one day during a Senate meeting one man came in. He was the most tactical mind politcly, econmicly and militarily the country had. He was Leonacus. He requested temporary power. It was granted. He in just 6 months raised an army of over 500,000, made a powerful economy based on democratic socialism and made strict but fair laws for murder, robbery and assault.Lenoadacus died at the end of his 6 months in power. People wonder what he could have done in his other 6 months in power. His brother Spartonidas took in power. He kept up what. Leondacus was doing. Later in his term 6 city states “conviently” at the same time declared war on the Arivadian republic. These city states were some of the most powerful. They launched a surprise invasion. The Arivadian were in shock almost 90% of it’s territory was lost in just 5 months. In a last ditch effort Spartaonidas brought the bulk of the Arivadian army to the city of Dorset for a battle that would decide the fate of Arivada. Almost 300,000 Arivadians met what was said to be 1,000,000 Enemy soldiers at Dorset. The battle was swift. The Arivadians won. With almost 600,000 Enemy dead and 300,000 captured the enemy pleaded for mercy. It was not given. Almost 90% of the 6 city-states territory was forcibly taken.
Medieval Era: In 500 AD to 1500 AD the Arivadian Republic formed into the United States of Arivada. It was on the verge of becoming a superpower. Attacks on the republic failed miserably. It was the one war that changed Arivada forever. The War of the first coalition. It was other nations and city states formed a coalition against Arivada. The war was nothing like the war against the 6 conquered. It was from the start in the Advantage to Arivada. When the threats to Arivada were received by runner the Arivadians did a preemptive strike. They launched a surprise invasion to all the nations and cities. The other armies were demolished. After the war peace and prosperity hit the Arivada. The economy became even more powerful. Culture flourished. The one mistake the Arivadians made is weaken the army. That shall be mentioned later but in that time no other nations thought about oppressing Arivada. In fact Arivadian president demanded they buy goods like food, cloth furniture etc. The only thing to worry about was the occasional raid of robbers and barbarians.
Colonial Era: Nobody would expect what happens next. A ship from a far away land came in search of colonies. They gave Arivada the choice to be slaves with peace or bloodshed. A shot was heard and a battle was fought with local militia and the foreigners happened. Then they thought they had months to prepare but a fleet with over 1,000 ships started landing troops on Arivadian land. Almost 100,000 troops. At first the Arivadians didn’t stand a chance, a few hundred years of peace made you weak but things can change quickly. The Arivadians formed an Army of over 500,000 to combat the enemy. The final battle at the river rhig was the worst. 25,000 Arivadians met an army of over 80,000. The clash was fast. It seemed all hope was lost but then one flag carrier began charging from retreat he headed straight for the enemy. This inspired other soldiers soon the entire Arivadian army headed straight for the enemy. The enemy was shocked and confused about the courageousness of the Arivadians. Soon a melee battle started with bayonets and rifle butts. The battle was won by the Arivadians. At the cost of over 12,000 men the Arivadians killed 40,000 and captured 20,000.

Early 20th Century: The Arivadians never made the mistake of weakening the military again. They always kept the army at 1 million men and the navy at 500 ships. Manufacturing doubled even tripled in Arivada. It was said other nations thought about attacking Arivada but they thought twice for the defeat of the enemy in the colonial coalition war. Soon war broke out again. This time over a piece of uninhabited territory. Arivada wanted it. So did the Kingdom of Ledarre. Both sides put heck of a fight. Soon a ledarrean colony of Greater Americania was about to be attacked for the Greater Americanians refused to fight us.In fear that Greater Americania would fall we decided to open up a second front on Greater Americania and helped them win their independence. The Leddarens eventually surrendered and gave up their colony and New Arivada.

Late 20th century: The threat here was not outside but within. A group of polygamists formed a massive cult and convinced others in the nation to start their own. These cults later became terrorist hives. Soon the National Guard and States Militia were deployed. Fighting happened all over the country. It was considered a Rebellion. In 1978 a riot outside the Capital building happened. Police and Rioters battled for 2 days straight. It was thought this would turn into a civil war. Soon the National Guard bombed the head cult. It lead to more minor riots.

Modern: In Modern Arivada peace is in the homeland but war is fought outside. There has been only 1 rebellion and unfortualey one civil War. The Civil War was a multi party war. The Communist, Nationlist, Democrats and emperist were all fighting for supremacy in Arivada. It was thought the Nationalist were going to win until the Democrats launched a surprise attack on both the Nationalist and the communist. Over 300,000 lives were lost that day. The democrats and Nationalist made a deal and formed an alliance and shared the power in Arivada. It was a short war.
