Military Orders of the United Dominion (Domestic & Foreign)

Bring back something from the grave, but will have some rules this time around. Basically, the main rule is the following: No more then two images for each app filled out. That rule was abuse in the last one, causing me to close it after someone asked for a person for like twenty people. Follow that rule and I’ll be happy camper. That’s all really.

Well, I think I’ll join the bandwagon like NN did, but in a different way as I already have the United Dominion Foreign Legion. As the title says, this thread will be about the domestic military order and the foreign ones within my nation. The government doesn’t really have control over the military orders, but each one has signed a written oath that said military will not harm the United Dominion in anyway and will protect the United Dominion from outside harm.

Domestic Military Orders of the United Dominion:

History: In 1305, the new Pope Clement V, based in France, sent letters to both the Templar Grand Master Jacques de Molay and the Hospitaller Grand Master Fulk de Villaret to discuss the possibility of merging the two Orders. Neither was amenable to the idea, but Pope Clement persisted, and in 1306 he invited both Grand Masters to France to discuss the matter. De Molay arrived first in early 1307, but de Villaret was delayed for several months. While waiting, De Molay and Clement discussed charges that had been made two years prior by an ousted Templar. It was generally agreed that the charges were false, but Clement sent King Philip IV of France a written request for assistance in the investigation. King Philip was already deeply in debt to the Templars from his war with the English and decided to seize upon the rumors for his own purposes. He began pressuring the Church to take action against the Order, as a way of freeing himself from his debts.

On Friday, October 13, 1307 Philip ordered de Molay and scores of other French Templars to be simultaneously arrested. The Templars were charged with numerous heresies and tortured to extract false confessions of blasphemy, which, though obtained under duress, caused a scandal in Paris. After more bullying from Philip, Pope Clement then issued the papal bull Pastoralis Praeeminentiae on November 22, 1307, which instructed all Christian monarchs in Europe to arrest all Templars and seize their assets.

Upon hearing of the order from Pope Clement, the Templars within the Dominion were rounded up by Dominion soldiers under the orders of Queen Isabel du Paris. Their assets, mostly castles, were placed into the Dominion royal holding. The arrested Templars were being taken to one of the Dominion’s prison castles, but upon hearing of this news, the Count would ride to the prison. Having rode with Knights Templar during the Crusades, the Count couldn’t believe what was happening to the military order.

In the end, with the power that the Count held within his nation, all Knights Templars were freed and their assets given back. The Count offered the Knights Templars a home within the Dominion or they could join their brothers across Europe in other jails. A huge number took the Count’s offer.

As news spread to the Pope, a message was sent demanding to know the reason why his order wasn't being upheld. And true to the nature of the Count, he is quoted in saying this “The Dominion doesn’t take orders from you or any of the other pope that come after your death. The Dominion is not a puppet whom strings are being pulled. If you don’t like it, then send people to their death to arrest the Knights Templars within the Dominion. I dare you!”

Hearing this news, more Knights Templars, whom had fled from across Europe, came into to join their Templar brothers. Following the disbanding of the order in 1312 AD, the Knights Templers within the Dominion, which at the time and is still is outside Papal control, would live peacefully lives doing whatever their order wants.

As of 2008 AD, Dominion Templar Knights number around fifty thousand members although a quarter of them have military training. The rest are priests and other whom have been trained to deliver their message around the word.

Although the modern Knights Templars don’t don medieval armor anymore, they still carry swords into battle with other modern weaponry. The Dominion Templar Knights don’t take orders from the Holy See or even the Dominion’s leaders, but from their Grand Master. Current Grand Master, Lucien Badeau de Molay, is a kinsman of the famous Grand Master Jacques de Molay whom was burned alive at the stake in Paris on March 18, 1314.

Through the Dominion Templar Knights history, they have held a strong bond with the Count for his action in the past. A number of DTK have been seen by the Count’s side throughout history.

Fighting Style: Brute Force, and Melee Tactics (A small number use bows in combat.)

History: The Vampiric Order was founded by elders of the vampiric race within the United Dominion, the soldiers of the Vampiric Order are all half-vampires to be both daylight protectors and nighttime protectors. Members of the Vampiric Order are seen at all events of the Church of Eternal Light, which is the main vampiric church of the United Dominion.

Members of the Vampiric Order are armed with pistols and knifes. The uniform of a VO soldier are mix of inner Kevlar woven liner with an outer leather casing, with a hard ceramic chest plates that protects the wearer’s heart.

Fighting Style:Close-quarters combat and speed

Foreign Military Orders of the United Dominion:

The Blackwatch is to be watch at all time. Manics, bloodthirsty manics make up the 1st Blackwatch.

Overall Jacks of all trade and Masters of none. Very good at supporting the heavy hitters as they take on rebel forces within the United Dominion.

Them boys from the Bonnafulian Sapper core know only one tactic; heavy assault, which is good in many cases. Rumors has it that they claim they can clear out a bunker in 30 seconds, but that fact hasn't been seen as being true for the enemy them Bonnies have face don't own bunkers. Another one of the military order whom use heavy armor.

Bow down to insane ones! Members of the 3rd 'Assaulto' MSF charge into whatever even if the odds were stacked against them. Love using heavier caliber firearms, mostly the faithful AK-47 or a light machine gun. A great asset to use against the rebel scum.

We Are Helghast! More freaks in a land of freaks. The boys of the 3rd Helghast have a strange way to dress, too dark and emo to most Dominionite but they know how to fight. Defensive movements are top class of all of the military orders of the United Dominion.

The 5th Parachute Regiment, true to their name, love jumping from cargo planes to land atop of the enemies’ heads. Them boys are a little nuts for jumping out of a not damaged plane. But some people have a few screws loose. Them boys be brave.

Sneaky little Frenchies be the chaps of the 22nd. Unlike the other military orders, the 22nd only move around within the Kingdom of Aquilonia. Listed as a foreign order for it is made up foreign-born French.

Soldiers bred to fight, the 31st Regiment of the Imperial Army were pure Guerilla type of soldiers. Very good at driving the rebels to their knees.

One, two, three! GO GO GO! Is what a paratrooper hears every time he join the fight, coming from the heavens to land upon the heads of the enemy. The men of the the 112th truly become their names, moving at lightning speed to deal defeat upon the enemy. Have been seen doing missions with the 5th Parachute Regiment.

Another military order that stood in the footsteps of the 501st, the 115th were limited in what they could do. With no funds to maintain a fleet of dropships, the 115th were forced to sit and wait. Until one faithful day, the 115th‘s wish was granted and they got their dropships. As with the 501st, the royal houses of Wolf and Blackstone began funding them dropship boys of the 115th.

The 334th are a special breed of soldiers, using the latest sets of ‘power‘ armor. Their tactics mirror the tactics of the Lost, using the massive sized forces to take out the enemy.

What can you say about the 501st other then them boys eat, sleep, and %^&* tanks. The only bad thing after the 501st set up shop in the United Dominion was that they couldn‘t afford their toys. The 501st found a way, but it only lead to trouble as it is a crime to steal from an United Dominion Armed Forces bases.

Seeing what the 501st could do, a few of the royal houses of the United Dominion started funding those tank crazy boys. The houses are the following; Wolf, Octavianus, Blackstone, Von Doom and Kravinoff. Members of the 501st are now seen bearing symbols of those houses.

The protectors of Earth, fallen from some unknown place or so they say. But they do wield strange things like a power ring to do their duty to the United Dominion. Treated at home in the home of freaks, the United Dominion.

Foreigners of the Greek bloodlines, the Athens Assault Force live in the past. A little under dressed for the crazy world of the United Dominion.

Sapient Dinosaurs who walk like humans, kill like humans and leave a mess like humans. All members have at else five years of military service under their belt before they become part of the Black Claws.

The Covenant of the Daemonic Shield are a true powerhouse within the United Dominion, where maybe they could only fit it with the dangers and mayhem that is the United Dominion. Like the Brood, the Covenant of the Daemonic Shield is being watched by the United Dominion but allowed to do what they want when dealing damage to ‘rebels’ and hunters. Many within the United Dominion Armed Forces have formed bonds with the members of the Covenant, mostly those of the shadow ops. Known to be called in by Caesar Jason Scotus Lupus for special tasks.

There is saying out there that says this 'Fear what bumps in the night.', and the shadows of the Daemonic Masquerade are something to be feared. The Daemonic Masquerade is a walking nightmare, moving across the shadows to bring the morale of the enemy to its knees. No mercy is given by them, they take all from the enemy. But the mindset of the members of the Masquerade also makes it be a target for twenty-four/seven surveillance for the government agencies of the United Dominion.

Pure soldiers are the boys of Delta. Follow orders like a dream, great minds in leadership roles. Delta is a powerhouse of the many military orders of the United Dominion.

A faithful group, protecting believers in Jesus throughout the world until the Rapture, which is a little strange in nation with vampires and werewolves. Very go at doing rescue missions.

What can be said about the boys called 'Duckies'? Number one, they have not a book of warfare to follow. Throwing out countless rules of engagement out of the window. Number two, they for some unknown reason will start chucking ducks at the enemy. Poor ducks, but someone will get a meal at a high price. Number three, them boys be eating their prisoners. Must be tasty...

Insanity runs wild within the Fire-Bringers, whom wield their flamethrower like it was a cool thing to do. More power to them, if they want to carry around the fuel tank to those things.

The men of the Flaming Mountain live in the past, using the tactics of the militaries of the past. But they will never retreat from combat.

The Brood, as classified by the United Dominion Armed Forces, is a balls to the wall, no-hold barred group of soldiers. They are known to do what it takes to get a victory, over the smallest rebellion to the largest battlefield. They know no fear, only bloodshed. For that, the soldiers of the Brood are respected by the members of the United Dominion Military. But the mindset of the members of the Brood also makes it be a target for twenty-four/seven surveillance for the government agencies of the United Dominion.

Pure mayhem is how the Goremongers run things. Dominionites and Jagites have had an rocky relationship, from actions in the past. But they are truly brothers in arms. United Dominion officials do turn their eyes away from some of the actions of the Goremongers do within the United Dominion.

Out of all of the military orders, the Goremongers are always in conflict somewhere across the United Dominion. Blood run true when they are on the move.

The tactics of the Watch as known by the United Dominion Armed Forces are a crazy mix of wisdom and ruthlessness. Best when the moon is in the sky and the sun is hiding. Shadow operations are the game and the Watch are the players.

A true company of knights, dedication to a cause like the knights of olden days. Bringers of the Light, Destroyers of the Darkness.

If these boys would stay out of the alcohol, they would be the prefect winter assault order of all of the military orders within the United Dominion. The Hunters are great in hunting down rebels hiding in mountain caves and other campsites.

What can be said about the Iron Falange other then they share some of the ideals of the Dominionites they live with. Can’t stand them damn commies scum sucking pest. Their style of dress reminds people of the second world war era. Old school them boys be, but they are good for something.

Not really like by the civilians of the United Dominion or even the military forces of the United Dominion for the fact that look like terrorists. And some of their tactics are terrorist-like. They have their uses in dealing with rebel that act and think like them.

Great creators of death, them boys of the Luthorian Foreign Legion are. Marksmen skill is great. The marksmen taking out a number of high-level targets (officers, machine gunners, and other snipers) and are cleared to kill medics as the rules of engagement are different within the United Dominion. The only thing bad about the Luthorian is the following, melee combat is really really poor. Must start melee training now.

The Khytenna Rangers is one of the military order whom membership changes as the recruits become officers, and squad leaders on their own. Because of what the Khytenna Rangers are, they sometime train with elements of the United Dominion Armed Forces and other Military Orders within the United Dominion. Rangers of this element have a true challenge ahead of them all, dealing with dangers of the United Dominion.

Known assassins. Under twenty hour/ seven day of the week surveillance by the Crimson Fists. All movement is logged.

Want armor destroyed? Answer yes and deploy the boys of the MSF Armor Brigade. Want explosions? Then do the same thing, bring in the MSF Armor Brigade and the fun will start.

Loyal as a dog, stronger then an ox and brave as a honey badger. The prefect bodyguards, beings used by a number of elite members of the United Dominion.

A military order who can be tracked back to the grand and noble warriors of the Norse belief. Have strong wills, killing the enemy and stealing from their enemy.

What can you say about the Hell Fighters that doesn‘t end with the words ‘crazy as Hell‘. Jacks of All Trades, Masters of None. Within the United Dominion, they are limited to only being ground forces for there is no fund by the United Dominion government. They have their uses, so they all allowed to do their job. Under twenty hour/ seven day of the week surveillance by the Crimson Fists for their known tactics.

Are you fearless? Can you get the job done? Got street smarts? Answer yes on to all those, then you have the heart and soul of the First Strike Mobile Infantry Company or also known as the Rebel Devils. Them boys love close quarters.

The 182nd "Red Flame" Infantry Regiment
Another of those humanoid animal people, these from the noble and grand dragon race. A little on the side of a hothead with the fire breath and so on, but their wings come in handle. Them rebel scum don’t known what has happened to them when the Red Flame Boys arrive on the scene. Uses old firearms, but they know how to use them. Well loved by the people of the United Dominion.

The night is the playground of the Red Dragon, who call home the same as the boys of Delta. They are clay, molding into a prefect assault force by taking the best of the military minds and forces world-wide. A true asset to have over.

The 46th Regiment of Foot Light Infantry, 201st Regiment Light Horse, 43rd Regiment Royal Fusiliers, Her Majesty's Greenshire Regiment of Foot Guards, 32nd Royal Lancers are all equally known as those ‘Old School Boys‘ by the United Dominion Armed Forces for their use of 19th century uniform, firearms and tactics. Under twenty hour/ seven day of the week surveillance by the Crimson Fists for their known tactic of using silver bullets. With their tactics, their odds against the scum of the United Dominion is low. Even the rebel dogs use modern warfare tactics.

Parkour, explosives, sniper rifles, CQC, and no sense of emotions are what the Saboteurs are. Cold blooded killers, very close to terrorist in nature. Under twenty hour/ seven day of the week surveillance by the Crimson Fists for their nature.

The Shadows of the Order of St. Ruper, also known as the Shadow Order by the United Dominion Armed Forces, are some good old chaps, even if they are a bunch of gingers. The stealth comes in handy when raiding the ‘safe houses’ of known rebels and vampire hunters. Have at times, aiding the training of young snipers and other special ops soldiers of the United Dominion Armed Forces and even the United Dominion Foreign Legion.

The uniform of the Shadow Orders have removable shoulder plates for when they are using their rifles. In the darkest of night, there is only one true dark Knight and the members of the Shadows of the Order of St. Ruper are those dark knights.

WE ARE SPARTA! No, really, the men of the Spartan Assault Force are like their counterparts of the Athens Assault Force. Foreigners of the Greek bloodlines. Known to carry spears and seen without armor, too.

Do your nation have any historical preferred way of fighting: New Azura adheres to the Cailene Code of Conduct in battle. Allies of the Azuran Empire are treated with the utmost respect and admiration, regardless of their adherence to the Cailene Faith. Enemy nations are considered beasts worthy of the slaughter. Enemies of the Azuran Empire are defeated headlong into battle - not to the point of surrender, but to the point that the belligerent party poses no threat to the Empire. After this, the Empire systematically destroys the belligerent nation. The children are used for medical experimentation, the women enslaved as concubines, the babies used to feed prisoners in Azuran colonies, and the men used for weapons testing. All material wealth is stripped from the warring nation, and their cities razed to the ground with incendiary and thermobaric explosives. One child is taken amongst the rest - its eardrums busted, its scalp yanked off, its eyes put out, its tongue cut off, its arms and legs amputated and then reattached to the opposite sides. The body, whether it be dead or alive, is then impaled on a pike, and carried before the ceremonial lead units in a military procession, either to symbolize the vanquished foes (to the Azurans) or to serve as a reminder not to engage in a hopeless struggle with the Empire (for our Enemies).

What is the main ethnicity of your nations people? Predominantly Caucasian with some Indigenous Population interspersed (less than 15% of the total population).
Is there something the regiments will be known for? The Daemon Corps are known for their ability to carry out Valkyrie Operations (aka BlackOps - assassinations, coups, sabotage, spying), but are primarily used for intimidation purposes. They are the "raiders", terrorizing the enemy into submission, and then enjoying the spoils of war (ie raping, murdering, pillaging) after the fight.

Regiment name: The Covenant of the Daemonic Shield
Do your nation have any historical preferred way of fighting: New Azura adheres to the Cailene Code of Conduct in battle. Allies of the Azuran Empire are treated with the utmost respect and admiration, regardless of their adherence to the Cailene Faith. Enemy nations are considered beasts worthy of the slaughter. Enemies of the Azuran Empire are defeated headlong into battle - not to the point of surrender, but to the point that the belligerent party poses no threat to the Empire. After this, the Empire systematically destroys the belligerent nation. The children are used for medical experimentation, the women enslaved as concubines, the babies used to feed prisoners in Azuran colonies, and the men used for weapons testing. All material wealth is stripped from the warring nation, and their cities razed to the ground with incendiary and thermobaric explosives. One child is taken amongst the rest - its eardrums busted, its scalp yanked off, its eyes put out, its tongue cut off, its arms and legs amputated and then reattached to the opposite sides. The body, whether it be dead or alive, is then impaled on a pike, and carried before the ceremonial lead units in a military procession, either to symbolize the vanquished foes (to the Azurans) or to serve as a reminder not to engage in a hopeless struggle with the Empire (for our Enemies).

What is the main ethnicity of your nations people? Predominantly Caucasian with some Indigenous Population interspersed (less than 15% of the total population).
Is there something the regiments will be known for? The Daemon Corps are known for their ability to carry out Valkyrie Operations (aka BlackOps - assassinations, coups, sabotage, spying), but are primarily used for intimidation purposes. They are the "raiders", terrorizing the enemy into submission, and then enjoying the spoils of war (ie raping, murdering, pillaging) after the fight.

The Covenant of the Daemonic Shield are a true powerhouse within the United Dominion, where maybe they could only fix it with the dangers and mayhem that is the United Dominion. Like the Brood, the Covenant of the Daemonic Shield is being watched by the United Dominion but allowed to do what they want when dealing damage to ‘rebels’ and hunters. Many within the United Dominion Armed Forces have formed bonds with the members of the Covenant, mostly those of the shadow ops. Known to be called in by Caesar Jason Scotus Lupus for special tasks.

The 334th are a special breed of soldiers, using latest sets of ‘power‘ armor. Their tactics mirror the tactics of the Lost, using the massive sized forces to take out the enemy.
