The Federal Republic of Ochry
Diplomatic Service
To the attention of: The world's leaders
From the office of: The Chancellor, Emiļ Turonęs
Regarding: The establishing of embassies in our country
Dear Sir or Madam,
The Federal Republic of Ochry is highly committed to world diplomacy and to creating strong, lasting connections between our country and others. As testament to this, we have sought to build embassies wherever the opportunity arises, and we have opened up a new embassy scheme for those not yet represented in Ochry. We welcome each of you to accept this unique offer to foment mutually-beneficial ties with our country.
Political System
Ochry has a very stable political system, based on parliamentary democracy. We have a unique tetracameral system for our legislature, ensuring proportionality, state representation and an exemplary level of legislative foresight. Elections are held to the two main chambers every three years, and a Chancellor is appointed. Though several regional parties are represented, two broad coalitions - the Centrists and the Reform Party - have alternated in governance for over 120 years. Consequently, newcomers need not fear unstable working conditions or radical governance; both parties are thoroughly committed to the defence of personal and civic freedom. The current Chancellor is Emiļ Turonęs, a Centrist, who has been in office for almost a full 6 years.
Your embassy
Unless you specifically request to settle in another city, your embassy will be placed in Kaulųs. Situated on our South-East coast, it is one of our country's most historic cities, and was recently made Ochry's capital, replacing Okosţa, from which it is a mere 25 minutes away. Well connected to a newly-refurbished airport and to Ochry's rail and airship system, like all of Ochry, the city is very safe and your ambassador, family and staff should feel free to experience the city's culture without preoccupation. The South-East region is home to over a hundred different nationalities, and folk that you will meet will be cosmopolitan and welcoming.
Embassies that we offer will be entirely secure, and protected at all times by the Ochrian Elite Guard to the same extent as the homes of our cabinet members are. They come fully furnished, and in a range of sizes and styles, all supplied with iris recognition scanners. The government is willing to make modifications to the buildings it leases if and when such are needed.
Locations available:

Other locations will be unveiled as time elapsed if demand continues.
Nota bene
- Ochry does not believe in extraterritorialism - your property will be considered as being on Ochrian soil, and must strain to comply with the laws of Ochry.
- That being said, your Ambassador and family, and your diplomatic staff have diplomatic immunity, provided that each person employed in this manner provide information from their local authorities proving that they have a clean criminal record. Those who have committed serious crimes during their time in Ochry may have this immunity waived.
- If you have armed guards, we ask that they not be soldiers.
- We advise that your Ambassador speak Ochrian or request intensive lessons whilst here. Ochrians are well versed in foreign languages, but consider it somewhat disrespectful if you don't make an effort with ours.
- Ochry is a peaceful country that welcomes foreigners, and your stay will almost certainly pass without incident. You will have a direct line to the office of the Chancellor, and our elite guard will keep you and your building safe. As such, we ask that you be reasonable about the number of armed guards and weapons that you request. No embassy in Ochry has ever been attacked in the history of our diplomatic relations, so a large guard unit heavily armed will go to waste. Under Ochrian law, automatic weapons, explosives, shotguns, armour-piercing weapons, riot gear and armed vehicles are not permitted.
- All applications are denied or approved by the Diplomatic Select Committee.
