Description: The nation of Agrivova is one that formerly consisted of very fertile land, although most of this land was rendered unusable after the Great War. Now, with the primary source of income depleted, most of the land has been used for mining or remains wide open and unused-some of it prairie, other sections rocky and desolate. Desertification has begun to occur in some areas, due to the war and overuse of the land. This is a large problem in the Tyrarconia territory. Most of the population lives in small towns created from post war settlements, and most urban centers have a heavily built up center with considerable suburban sprawl surrounding this urbanized core. Most of the surrounding Islands survived the scarring of the great war, and most are still quite rural and fertile. These islands mostly occur in groups and are usually connected by submerged sand bars-these can present a hazard to any maritime vessel (or potential invader) As such, all foreign vessels must follow carefully planned out approach routes as to avoid running aground. There is a central mountain range (the capital is located in the direct center of this range, underground) and several other small ranges around the coast-usually forming spectacular cliffs that can be hundreds of feet high.
Agrivova is situated at the extreme north of the Atlantian Oceania region-as such, most of the Atlantic Ocean borders to the south, while the neutral and empty Cascade Ocean borders to the north. All storms originate from the Spring Sea area, and move west to east. The rainiest season of the year is Spring-there are frequent storms during this period. The Gulf of Saint Arc region is named for Saint Augustinius Arc, who first lead an expedition to the island of Agrivova in 1592. However, much earlier expeditions must have occured, as there was already a sizable native population on the island, one that was not much different from the Europeia sponsored expedition of Saint Arc.
