Independent Republic of Boldonia Department of State

This is the official channel for requesting embassies and consulates within the Independent Republic of Boldonia. All official requests for the request and establishment of diplomatic missions are to go through this channel. Diplomatic missions within the Independent Republic of Boldonia must submit to the following regulations below:

1. Only the ambassador, consul, and diplomatic staff are granted diplomatic Immunity. All other staff, be it security or service staff, are subject to Independent Republic of Boldonia law.
2. No firearms larger than a rifle are to be utilized by the embassy. No firearms with a caliber larger than 7.62mm in diameter for rifles, or 11.43mm for pistol calibers, are to be utilized by the embassy. Any firearms that uses a caliber larger than 5.56mm for rifles, or 9mm for pistols is to be limited to single or semi-automatic fire only. Cerimonial firearms must be declared, and may only shoot blanks however if that requirement is met they are allowed to not follow the other requirements for firearms.
3. No bladed weapons larger than a combat knife are to be utilized by the embassy. Any larger ceremonial bladed weapon may be permitted as long as the blade is dulled and not used for security purposes.
4. No chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, or explosive weapons are permitted on embassy grounds in day to day operation except in cases of direct attack or seige where only chemical or explosive weapons may be used as needed as long as damage to surrounding structures is minimized as much as possible.
5. Embassy security are permitted to carry certain crowd control gear: such as tasers, stun/flash grenades, and riot shields, however tear gas or any similar gaseous weapons are not permitted.
6. Bulletproof vehicles may be stored in, and used by the embassy for ground transportation within the Independent Republic of Boldonia provided they are not armed.
7. If the ambassador, consul, or other embassy staff require ground transportation to anywhere except for their residence or workplace the route and destinations are to be declared at least 36 hours in advance unless in cases of emergency. This transportation must be conducted under the security of the Independent Republic of Boldonia National Guard and the persons in need of transportation may not leave until the IRBNG escort has arrived unless in cases of emergency.
8. Diplomatic missions are permitted to display symbols of their nation or government, however any other symbols namely of political ideology, are subject to Independent Republic of Boldonia law and must be taken down if requested by authorities.
9. Any plant or animal life to be brought from the nation capable of reproducing or disrupting the natural ecosystem of Boldonia must be declared and may not be brought if it is ordered by authorities. Diplomatic missions may however purchase plants from local shops and plant them in the embassy.
10. No recreational drugs are to be brought to the embassy, however this does not apply to alcoholic beverages with ABV of less than 40%.
11. Foodstuffs may be regularly shipped to the embassy as long as they may not be planted or have the potential to carry diseases into Boldonia, however embassies may purchase foodstuffs from local stores in Boldonia.
12. Embassies may not be larger than 43560 sq. feet (4046.86 sq. meters). Consulates no larger than 26000 sq. feet (2415 sq. meters).
13. Embassies shall have no more than 30 diplomatic staff, 20 security staff, and 15 staff of other varieties.
14. To have a consulate you must have an embassy within the Independent Republic of Boldonia. You may apply for a consulate at the same time as an embassy, or at a later date than when your application for an embassy was submitted. You may not apply for a consulate in more than two cities without an acceptable cause or purpose. Consulates shall have no more than 15 diplomatic staff, 15 security staff, and 10 staff of other varieties.

We will convert the rifles to 7.62*51 NATO if a variance is not granted.
