There's a grave on the Pabeng River,
A grave that the Burmans shun;
And there's Subadar Prag Tewarri
Who tells how the work was done.

Hunting rifles for sports and commercial hunters, claws, teeth, and sheer muscle power for natural hunters

1. Is hunting allowed in your nation?
Yes.

3. Do hunters have to be registered?
No.

4. Is hunting regulated in your nation?
No. The Wildlife Department keeps track of animal populations and makes the information public but hunters are trusted to use the resource wisely in their own best interest.

5. Is hunting considered a sport or means of survival?
Hunting is mostly done for tradition, to remember how our ancestors lived.

6. What is the main hunting weapon of your nation?
The boar spear, three or four meters long, sometimes with a steel tip but more often just a fire-hardened wooden point. Stone tips are considered pretentious. Bows and arrows are also used for smaller game.

7. Are animals killed or trapped generally?
Trapping is uncommon. Birds and other small game are hunted by stealth but wild boars are traditionally killed in face-to-face combat.

8. What is the main animal hunted?
Wild boar, ducks, rabbits.

9. Do people in your nation hunt with dogs or the aid of any other apparatus?
No. Dogs have a tendency to confuse the pigs and scare them away. Traditional hunting strategy is to provoke the pigs into a head-on attack and then kill them in self-defense. Ducks are usually shot on the water and retreived by a fishing line attached to the arrow.

1. Is hunting allowed in your nation?
Absolutely not.
2. If not why?
Maraquean culture is heavily influenced by the philosophical and moral teachings of Xanthaiyan. One tenant of his teachings centered around the belief that animals, despite being of lesser intelligence, are of equal value and importance. In Xanthaiyan's view, killing an animal is the same as killing a defenseless human child.

1. Is hunting allowed in your nation?
Not in general; only of sluggards, and hagfish, and lawyers.
2. If not why?
We just think hunting is cruel. We passed legislation to cull sluggards and hagfish because they are our former and current national animals. (As for lawyers, need you ask?)
3. Do hunters have to be registered?
Yes. They are not only registered, they are tattooed on the forehead with a big letter "F".
4. Is hunting regulated in your nation?
Yes, severely. Almost to extinction.
5. Is hunting considered a sport or means of survival?
Neither. It is considered a vice, like masturbation.
6. What is the main hunting weapon of your nation?
For sluggards and hagfish we use slide rules. In the case of lawyers, the Anal Intruder.
7. Are animals killed or trapped generally?
Usually we just give them a stern talking-to, except for lawyers, which are handed over for public torture and execution.
8. What is the main animal hunted?
Lawyers. Most people can't stand to go anywhere near sluggards because of the stench, and hagfish are more appealing than lawyers.
9. Do people in your nation hunt with dogs or the aid of any other apparatus?
We use robot dogs. They don't work all that well, but they're way cool.

1. Is hunting allowed in your nation? Yes.

3. Do hunters have to be registered? No.
4. Is hunting regulated in your nation? Not in any legislative sense. The Ohn are naturally very consciencious hunters who would rather go hungry for a time than deplete a prey species' numbers, so legislation has never been necessary.
5. Is hunting considered a sport or means of survival? Both.
6. What is the main hunting weapon of your nation? It varies a great deal. The Tharn for instance prefer heavy spears, while other tribes use everything from composite bows, to dual-fire crossbows, to the Ohn Bolter, and Ohn Rifle.
7. Are animals killed or trapped generally? Killed.
8. What is the main animal hunted? Aurochs and to a lesser extent, various breeds of deer, rabbit, and the wooly rhino.
9. Do people in your nation hunt with dogs or the aid of any other apparatus? The Ohn Wolf are both companions to most Ohn as well as steeds, and are thus used during hunts.
