Greetings Leaders of the Foreign States of the World,

To increase foreign and trade relationships with other nations, the Parliament of the People's Republic of Indinium has recently passed - and the President gave assent - the Embassy Act of 2010, which allows foreign nations to set up a diplomatic embassy or consulates in the the People's Republic.

Embassies will be placed in the district of our capital city of Ninove, and will be on a walking distance from the Indinian governmental headquarters, the economic and financial centre, and the many other important buildings and institutions located in Ninove.

All nations are welcome to apply, no matter of their political, social, and economic systems and schools of thought. When the applications is received, it will be reviewed by the President and the Cabinet of the People's Republic of Indinium, which will then review the application and vote on the status of the application and quickly response to it.

If your nation would like to set up an embassy, you must fill out the application below. An incomplete application, the withholding of information or applications which don't follow proper protocol will lead to a denied application.

On 9th May , 2010, the Embassy Act of 2010 was given Presidential Assent and thus came into full legislation throughout the People's Republic of Indinium. This Act not only defined the treaties offered through the construction of an embassy in the People's Republic of Indinium but states the rules and regulations governing said embassies.

. All nations must comply with the rules and regulations dictated in the Embassy Act of 2010.


Regulations Regarding the Embassy Act of 2010


Concerning Extraterritoriality and Rights of the Diplomat

• Land on which an embassy or consulate is located is considered tax-free, partially exempt from local law, and a protected territory of the country which holds the embassy or consulate there, but the land itself is completely owned by and is official property of the government of the People's Republic of Indinium.
• All diplomatic officials are given diplomatic immunity in accordance to the WA Diplomatic Protection Act. However, the People's Republic of Indinium reserves the right to declare any diplomatic official, at any time and without having to explain its decision, a persona non grata, and as such he or she is expected to leave Indinium within 12 hours.

Concerning Staff

• Embassies may have a maximum of fifty (50) attachés, assistants, and other diplomatic staff
• Embassies may have a maximum of twenty (20) security staff and armed personnel
• Embassies may have a maximum of fifteen (15) service staff(including but not limited to; maintenance, janitorial, and culinary staff)

Concerning Equipment

• A maximum of five (5) diplomatic automobiles are allowed per diplomatic mission.
• All diplomatic automobiles must be less than ten (10) years old.
• All automobiles must be smaller than a full sized sport-utility vehicle (full-sized SUVs and smaller are permitted).
  
• A maximum of two (2) diplomatic aircraft are allowed per diplomatic mission.
• All diplomatic aircraft must run on at least a 30/70 split of biofuel/conventional air-fuel
• All diplomatic aircraft must have permission to fly in Indinian airspace.
• All diplomatic vehicles must be demilitarized, however armoured vehicles are fine
  
• Assault rifles, light machine guns, and all heavy infantry weaponry are prohibited. All permitted firearms must be concealed at all times and cannot be used outside of the property of the embassy or consulate unless they are being fired upon.
• Grenades and explosive weaponry are not allowed, however smoke, flash-bang, and stun grenades are acceptable.
• Any and all nuclear, radioactive, biological, or chemical weaponry are prohibited.
• Any weaponry unusable by just one person is prohibited.
