Our own nation of Rusikstan has launched several missions to the moon from 1975 to 1993. Since then our nation has focused building our space stations. We are still lacking in viable long-term moon colonization systems, while we do have systems that would permit colonization of the moon they don't meet the requirements that our space administration has set.

There are a variety of alternate timelines that converge in the zone known as NationStates. My moon has not been destroyed, or I would know.
