The embassies will be located in Downtown Tripoli, close to the Republican Palace our seat of government. The embassies will be located on the following streets:
Via Venti Maggio: Closest to the Republican Palace and located on the same street as many of the most important Ministries including the Ministry of War, the Ministry of Energy, and the Foreign Ministry. Via Venti Maggio is also near many of the city’s best restaurants and shopping locations. The street is named for Italia Orientale’s date of independence, May 20, 1928.

Viale Dei Partigiani: Located further away from the city center, in a more residential district, the embassies on this street are housed in some of the city’s most exquisite villas. Many of the buildings date back to the 18th and 19th Centuries and are true historical landmarks. L’Istituto Mondiale, one of Italia Orientale’s most influential foreign affairs think tanks is located nearby. The street is named for the partisans that fought against Fascist Italy and Nazi Germany to help liberate the country from foreign occupation during World War II.

Via Mediterraneo: Via Mediterraneo runs along the Mediterranean coast and the buildings on this street have sweeping ocean vistas and access to the beach front. This location is not far from the Republican Palace and the Downtown areas. Some of the city’s finest hotels, restaurants, and night clubs are located on this street as well as the Naval Museum and the National Aquarium.
