Although many stories of these things are told, defectors generally say that life is good there as long as one stays in line with the law. Soldiers and military scientists who run away from Eyrum share information of massive armies and powerful weapons of war. Some even tell of children taken to be raised as soldiers and killing machines, biochemical weapons, weapons of mass destruction, and implants to improve performance in battle.
A man, who's name will be kept secret for his protection, claimed he worked as one of Emperor Harchord's body guards. He says that he carries himself and speaks in an eerily calm, relaxed, and intelligent manner and acts welcoming to his men and his colleagues, but also has sudden bursts of anger, contempt, and malice. He also has an air of confidence and ambition about him. The defector says that almost everything about The Emperor is unnerving.

Eyrum constantly shows off their newest weapons and war machines in order to make it clear that they are a threat. Although they boast an arsenal able to levle a fair sized nation a resistance group called The People's Regiment stays a constant nuisance to the Imperial government acting as a beacon of hope for the oppressed citizens, but there seems to be no end in sight for either the resistance or the government and Emperor Harchord's seat of power will remain stable.

He was the first RCMP officer to wear his traditional turban in active duty. You're probably more aware of the RCMP in their Red Serge dress uniforms when you add the hat.
