Your Nation's founder: Our nation was founded by the merging of four rebel groups. The United Coalition, The Confederate Coalition, The Organized Northern Militias, and Allied Citizens for Freedom.

Rebellion was sparked in the year 2015 when the State abolished private industry. Rebellion ended with the nuclear attack on the Tibius then-capital-city and several others, the line of nuclear bombardments now forms a de-facto demilitarized zone between the Coalition and the Reformed Tibius State. The four rebellion groups then negotiated a merge to form a transitional government in 2017, in charge of maintaining order while the Constitution was written, which was then replaced by the current Decentralized Government of the United Confederate Coalition which operates on said constitution.

The Bulan Islandian government was controlled by isolationist rebels who had assassinated her father and forced the monarch to become a figurehead position. The revolt was successful and Bulanesia was officially established in 1930 when the constitution was written.

Initially this meant the construction of three zones of occupation, i.e., American, British, and Soviet. Later, a French zone was carved out of the American and British zones. And in 1949 the Soviet Union in response to the newly created "Bundesrepublik Deutschland" created the Deutschen Demokratischen Repubic, with it's official founders and rulers being Wilhelm Pieck, Josef Stalin, and Otto Grotewohl, the nation would unite with it's western counterpart after the dissolvent of NATO with the west uniting with the east forming a fully fledged nation controlled by the SED and the Stasi.

The Holy Roman Empire declared War on France for the "Protection of National Interest", France smashed though Roman Defense Armies and pushed into the Reutoan Region of Hannover. The French began the Seige of Bremen (soon to be Bremenburg, Capital of Reutoa), and captured it. Infuriating the Local Populations into Rebellion against French Occupation and Roman Lords. They were led by the Duke of Bremen, Nicholas Schmitz I. Who styled himself the "King of Hannover as a Joke. The Oeople sided with him and fought back French and Roman assaults. With the help of Great Britain. Soon the French were forced to make Peace with Reutoa, and Reutoa was besidinf Berlin, and other important Roman Cities. The Holy Roman Emperor was captured and Killed, with his Eldest Son marrying with Nicholas's daughter, Prinzessin Cäcilie I. The Romans gave up to the Reutoans and (the now) Kaiser-Konig. Nicholas I declared the Reutoan Empire established.

Dominicus Mattius, a lawyer from the then-city-state of Alba was jealous of the cultural significance, mercantile riches, and power wielded by the city of Ravenna and angry with the laws imposed by Ravenna on the losing side of the Laurel War of 1190 (which included Alba). Dominicus tapped into the local resentment caused by these laws, which prevented merchants from conquered lands from competing with Ravenna and forced the losing cities to pay enormous tributes to Ravenna, and raised an army. Formed mostly of jobless returning soldiers and young men who had no opportunities in the face of Ravennan hegemony, Dominicus's army began a guerrilla war against a weary hegemon. This army focused first on expelling Ravenna's administrators and forces from conquered cities before going after Ravenna's smaller allies, using piracy and extortion to redistribute each city's tribute payments back to the people. His army swelled and it wasn't long before cities began declaring allegiance to Dominicus and offering their support, especially as Ravenna demanded more from its allies and subjugated cities. After conquering Ravenna and its allies, the general founded a new capital - Impera - as his seat of power in part to embarrass Ravenna and in part to prevent an existing city state to claim control of the nation as a whole, especially since his army consisted of men from various cities; indeed, the name Impera itself comes from the Mastral verb imperus, which means 'to reign.'

An educated and literate man, Dominicus's first act was to create a civil service and professional army - each city had to relinquish their forces to the new government and administrators were now employees of Impera. After some years of initial resistance to this new system, Dominicus held a forum of representatives from each city in 1203 to set forth a governing law which defined the role of the cities and the central government, known today as the Pact of Impera.

How your Nation was founded: (coup, colonization, etc) In the decade before 2214, our nation, as Joplinia-Lambscott, started an almost single-minded effort to get off our environmentally decimated planet and start anew. We virtually converted our cities into spaceships and brought the seventy-five million or so people remaining to a new universe. The Joplinian Department of Defense found a nearby habitable planet from the planned wormhole we were to create to get to the new universe, called it Aprioriposteriori, and once everyone was on the ships and off, plans immediately went underway to establish a new country and plan out the cities. During the four years, Cosmo, Demeter, Jones, and Garbo drafted a constitution and circulated it among the population. The ships reached Aprioriposteriori in May 2213, but revisions to the constitution were still going on. Nonetheless, the cities of Neue Bayreuth, Cwithers, Denniston, and Platzetorf began to be built almost immediately (with the cities of Unirove, Fox Dole Altar, La Vitabreve City, and others following a couple of months later), governed under the Provisional Charter that governed our trip to the planet with a few modifications. On October 17, 2214, the Freneq Constitution finally passed, and the nation was founded.

Iceland won at sea with the Naval battle of the Faroe Islands, crippling Danish seagoing capacities, while raiding Danish convoys with coastal gunships. Denmark's large coastal defense ships lacked the seagoing capacity to engage Islandic forces at sea. Denmark gave up on the 19th of January, 1936, after a short and embarrassing war.
