The land was controlled previously in the 1600's by a pre-fascist regime. The people, who were dreadfully oppressed under the regime, rebelled, and gained momentum as they crossed the nation. When they reached the capital, the war-weary dictator surrendered unconditionally, and was executed by the new President of Cruxa. The nation was founded upon the ideals of freedom, capitalism, and democracy. In 1945, the fascists resurfaced in Cruxa and tried to stage a coup. 1945 was a Cruxan election year, and as such for a short time a fascist president took power. However, he was ousted by the remainder of the CNAA, and his forces destroyed.

The Cruxan army landed on the beachhead, new recruits and veterans alike tripping over the lip at the edge of the bay door. Tearing the protective wrappers off their guns, they dove into the sand as the terrorist fire whizzed over their heads. Cries of "Fire at will!" and "Get down!" rang out across the beach as the Cruxans crawled forward and began to get a foothold. The systematic clatter of the AR-16 boomed across the beach, mingling with the screams of dying enemies. When the terrorists fired back, their antiquated Kalashnikovs failed to penetrate the Cruxans' body armor, and few men were lost. The battle dragged on for days, and both sides were starving, thirsty, and almost out of ammo. But the Cruxans mounted one last push, where they broke the terrorist line and advanced into the jungle. Cargo planes dropped supplies down to the weary force, as if rewarding them for their endless determination.
