To all Sovereigns and Rulers of States to whom these presents shall come,
Greeting!
We in the interest of greater international communication and discourse, are pleased to establish and maintain diplomatic relations with all nations of the world and We therefore humbly invite You the Sovereign or Ruler of Your Good Sovereign country, state or nation to establish Your mission in Nortainland, in Our capital city of Lendert-proper-with-Cadell-upon-Nort.
Now Know Ye who are pleased to accept Our invitation that We hereby decree that of Your embassy no staff greater in number than five-and-forty persons We allow and of legations fifteen the same, and that no more than two fifths of Your total persons may be guards or securitymen, and that Your armed guards are compelled to wear a uniform that We deem distinct and different to that of Your other persons.
And we do hereby further decree that Your chancery must not harbour Our criminals and must not breach Our laws and rules notwithstanding any agreement between You and Us.
And Know Ye that We by Our especial Powers and that of Our Lords Spiritual and Temporal do provide Your chancery with running water, gas and coal and firewood without charge, and with Your request will furnish Your chancery with electric power, and that at Our Royal Mews of St Alexander We do provide and set aside for Your embassy stabling and parking for Six horses, Two carriages and Three motor-cars and for Your legation for Four horses, One carriage and Two motor-cars the same.
We do hereby also prohibit Your mission's bringing of these following items, of game or non-household animals, explosives, daggers, sub-machine firearms, automatic firearms, machine guns or gatling guns, electric tasers, stun guns, compound bows, long bows, battle-axes, busses, lorries, trams, large ships, police vehicles, postal vehicles, fire appliances, ambulant vehicles, aircraft, ballooncraft, glidercraft, taxi-cabriolets, SUVs, large motor-cars, diesel vehicles, estate cars, utility vehicles, double-decker vehicles, hearses or limousines.
And Know Ye that by an Act of Parliament passed in the Twenty-eighth year of the Reign of George the Third entitled 'An Act to Ratify and Establish the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations' We give to Ambassadors, Ministers and Envoys and their staff and persons under the auspices of Your mission certain rights and privileges.
Provided Always that nothing in these our Letters Patent contained shall affect or be construed to affect any pre-existing arrangement or agreement with Any state, country or nation.
In Witness whereof We have caused these our Letters to be made Patent Witness Ourself at Our Court of St Michael'sgate, the Seventeenth day of January in the Fourteenth Year of Our Reign.

To apply for the establishment of an embassy or legation, we request that you fill and submit the two forms below with a letter of credence for Your envoy or otherwise write to His Majesty the King or His Majesty's Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, George Drachington PC MP.

If the diplomatic delegation would prefer to not bring transport or weapons with them, the Royal St Alexander's Mews are able to provide a pair of horses and a carriage for short-term loan. Weapons and vehicles may be purchased within Nortend. All members of the delegation will also receive a diplomatic pass for public transport, which allows free transport on all public trams and canal-boats, and discounted travel on rail.
