Only two weeks before we name our next President. Remember the President serves for 3 months (30 days counts as a month) as calculated by this site following the first day in Office. In the past we have had candidates who have held office and went inactive therefore candidates in this election must pledge to be active! For those of you who are new, this is how it works;

•During the first week we open nominations. You can nominate any persons you would like to see serve as President and Vice President (yourself included).
•The second week voting opens and you vote for both offices choosing from the list of names that were nominated from the prior week.
• On the final day of the previous serving President's term the next President will assume office.

And that's it very basic!

Why don't we choose running mates?
Because both offices should be active and it's easy for someone to merely accept a position offered to them without really committing fully to it. So members retain the right to nominate both offices to ensure their candidate is active and if they are ever not they can rely on the VP who is equally active.

We already have a currency for the league, we discussed establishing a type of International Monetary Fund or global bank but it never came into fruition. We already have a sort if parliamentary system. As well as the ippt judges, which is similar to the G6 in the UN.

Their economy is no problem. If anything they should use the League and the IPFTA to help boost their economy. They are Accepted I will update everything whenever I start feeling myself again.

Our space program isn't extremely advanced due to lack of funding but we hope to eventually establish the Inter-Pacific Space Program

The goal of the IPSP should be for us to work together to develop technologies. Working in unison to launch larger scale projects such as satellite launches and even OUR VERY OWN SPACE STATION similar to the ISS. My nation doesn't intend to establish any sort of space travel, apart from standard space launches. We only want to study and capture images of space. The PRZ exists in present day and therefore any futuristic post 21 century creations would not be allowed to be produced by the IPSP.

Our nation has had an advanced space programme for a long time, we were one of the early members of the International Space Agency and even now, as we speak, one of our countrymen holds a Directorial position there. We would gladly join the IPSP. Our Space Programme is managed by the Merni Space Agency (Iecarpes Nohorpeiones Khottresti) and is strictly only for research and exploration purposes. The government is thinking of allowing private companies to do space travel, but under strict supervision.

Nice! The Yatzatzian Space Agency spends quite a bit of money on space exploration (25 billion Yatz), so we'll help you. Also, if you're interested in space exploration, I would suggest joining the International Space Federation. I just joined.
