Introduction to New Celisia
New Celisia (Germani: Neue Himmelreich, officially the Winter Concordant of New Celisia), is an Absolute Monarchy located in the Verboten Sea, and the largest and only nation present in that region. It includes eight Administrative Districts and covers a total area of 11,910,292 sq/kms, with a largely temperate seasonal climate. New Celisia's Capital is Bergwelt, and it's largest city New Konigsberg. With 931 million inhabitants, New Celisia is the most populous Commonwealth of the TECT Empire. New Celisia is located approximately 15,600.5 kms away from the T.E.C.T. throne.
Many Germani tribes have occupied the Cisrhenni continent since approximately 750 BC, with their Slavi counterparts immigrating to the region from another land in 287 BC. The region of New Celisia which is often considered the birthplace of it's culture and civilization is known in Modern times as Tuetonreich. It was here that the Tuetoni Germani first established their Fortress in Bergwelt in 115 AD, and steadily gained dominance over the surrounding tribes through faith and the invention of advanced siege weaponry.
Yet it wasn't until 148 AD that the Kingdom of Teutoni was established through diplomacy with the largest of the Cishrenni Germani tribes. This unification brought about culture changes and ethnic mingling that would eventually lead to the first Celisian Concordant. In the 21st Century New Celisia saw a steady rise in it's infrastructure and technology, using it's massive arms manufacturing industry to produce both domestic and foreign goods for international sale. It was with this industry that New Celisia was able to begin building a greater number of roads and rail networks across the nation.
In November of 2006 discussions began with a long time ally of New Celisia, T.E.C.T. regarding the establishment of a new Commonwealth. Eventually discussions between Emperor JC, High King Erich von Winterlich, and their staffs concluded the creation of a Celisian Commonwealth within the confines of the TECT Empire. Work began immediately on the restructuring of the New Celisian military and administrative staff, with the High King given a semblance of control over his nation. A new age of propserity began and trade flourished as rich new trade networks opened.
Known for its rich cultural history, New Celisia has been continuously the home of influential artists, philosophers, musicians, sportsmen, entrepreneurs, scientists and inventors.
New Celisian foreign policy is to reach out to other nations in the attempt to foster good relations, trade, and cultural exchange for the betterment of all parties. New Celisia does not discriminate on the bounds of majority race, political orientation, economic systems, or other like attributes. Instead the Winter Concordant reserve the right to deal with nations on a case by case basis.
