ECONOMY

Global and Domestic Market
The Aznakayevo government is deeply opposed to free-market economies, and regulates the price of 90% of all domestic sales, and 100% of all foreign sales. Generally when a product begins production and must be sold, the government must choose an initial and final price for that product, and it does not change unless the government chooses so.

When selling to other nation prices are usually static, and no quantity/demand system is in place. The government asks for a set price and will only sell that product for that price. Domestically, however, people have the choice of what they wish to sell their products for, to a limit. For example, a baker can sell his bread or sweeties for $3.00 to $5.00 a loaf, but no more and no less. The government issues this system because they find that it raises the moral of the people, but still keeps the general income intact.

Taxes
Taxes are payed at the end of the month, every moth. Although each household only pays approximately $1,500 worth of taxes a month, this can cause a dramatic effect on each family member, who only make around $550 a week. The punishment for not paying taxes is usually prison time for males, or household arrest for females. If the problem persists, however, more severe sentences are issued out.

Consumerism
The population of Aznakayevo are usually free to spend their money on whatever they want, but receive very little income. Do to this, most people spend their money on food, leaving the rest to pay off taxes and fines. Materialism is rare and can only be practiced by the richest of families, which usually only happen to be foreigners since all income is generally the same.

Major Industry
The Federation of Aznakayevo's number-one major export is military grade equipment, weaponry, and vehicles, usually dominated by navel exports. In fact, almost 70% of the total population works for a government funded weapons company sometime in their life. Weapons production is responsible for 60% of Aznakayevo's foreign income.

Enlisted
When you are sixteen you are required to serve three years in the military, but there are many reports of people enlisting before that age. Technically there's no minimum age to enlist in the military, but you are usually denied if you are under twelve. Convicts who are accused of non-violent crimes can join the military instead of serving their sentence. You cannot, however, be drafted or enlist into the military if you are a single child. Woman are also allowed to join the military, not the navy, but aren't required to.

Requirements
Although you have to serve three years in the military at the age of sixteen, there are many requirements for being fully accepted. These requirements go for those who volunteer as well. If you are mentally handicapped, suffer from a sever physical handicap, or are on prescription drugs that can cause low hand-to-eyed coordination, eye problems, or weakness, you are denied.

Payment
When one is drafted or enlists in the military they will receive an initial paycheck of $550 a week, and this goes for all ranks in the military below the officer classes. Once an officer you will receive a very small pay raise of $50, totaling at $600 a week. Studies show that this payment is just enough to live off of for a citizen of Aznakayevo.

Branches
• The General Staff includes all of the high ranking officers, generals, and intelligence supervisors that are in the Aznakayevo military. Although the General Staff is only limited to approximately 200 personnel, it is one of the most important branches in the service, and are in charge of the entire Aznakayevo military. The General Staff only takes commands from the Premier of Aznakayevo.

• The Domestic Guard is in charge of defending all high ranking officials as well as the entire country of Aznakayevo, and it's colonies. The Domestic Guard will only be stationed on Aznakayevo land and will not interfere with the other branches of the military, although, technically they have a higher say in all of the other branches, excluding the General Staff.

• The Armed Forces makes up the majority of drafted and volunteering military personnel in Aznakayevo. These men and woman are in charge of taking, attacking, and raiding other countries, as well as protecting foreign allies. When not on duty, they are considered part of the Domestic Guard and will serve out their military careers as so.

• The Air Force is in charge of all military aviation, missile programs, and space research in Aznakayevo. They commonly work hand to hand with the Navy, Armed Forces, and Domestic Guard to establish universal control on the battlefield and during peace time.

• The Navy makes up all the military-class ships and vessels in Aznakayevo, as well as 40% of the enlisted male population. Although the navy is the lowest on the rank of command, they are essential for establishing total global control over the battlefield. Maritime patrols are also commanded by this branch, even those that are operated via aircraft.

Semi-democratic; elected ruler governs for five years, but has practically unlimited power.

Judicial System
Within the he Federation of Aznakayevo, the Supreme Court (or the High Court) controls and has ruling power over the lower, civilian courts. While trials in the Supreme Court are conducted by only the the three current judges in office, the defense attorney, and alleged perpetrator; the smaller trials in the smaller courts are conducted by the judge, defense attorney, detectives evaluating the crime, and alleged perpetrator. In a proper trial, all of these officials and personnel work together to figure out whether a crime was committed and/or the proper sentence for the crime. Sentences can vary from a day in prison to execution, depending on the crime.

Political Parties
When elections for the new ruler of Aznakayevo are held many stand up to take the job, each usually belonging to a separate political party. Although there is an unlimited amount of parties one can belong to, the most common are the United Workers Party, the Equality Totalitarian Party, and the People of the United Democracy Party.

So far in the history of Aznakayevo, exactly 60% of elected rulers have been from the United Workers Party, led by 30% from the Equality Totalitarian Party. The remaining 30% have been from various other parties, but were less popular than the previous. Originally, until the twenty-seventh anniversary of Aznakayevo, leaders would be elected into office and would serve until they either resign or die, but because this law was widely abused, it was replaced with the current system.

Elections
When a new election is held, all 100% of the population is required to vote, or risks prison time. Presidential elections are held every five years, and each nomination is chosen by various polls taken by the people within the last two years. The president has almost unlimited rule over the country, it's laws, and the political structure. If a leader refuses to lay down their presidency after the five year period, a vote will be held. If at least 80% of the overall population wishes him to be removed, he is. If it is under 80%, he will serve again for five more years. This system goes for all government officials.
