Letter of Notification to the Crown Kingdoms of the Recon Empire

Dear The Hon. Secretary Dame Angelina Putnam,

Her Imperial Majesty's Government in Forlini is pleased to hear the decision of your country to establish diplomatic relations with our Empire. However, your application does not comply with the rules pertaining to the establishment of diplomatic missions in Forlini. Security staff at an embassy may only carry one weapon, amounting a total of 25 weapons per embassy. You requested fifty which, according to the Foreign Office, is excessive. A further non-compliant found in your application is the amount of consulates your country wishes to maintain. You may have missed it but there is a limit of no more than three consulates per country, mentioned in the description of our embassy program. Furthermore, the immoderate arsenal of weapons that your country wishes to keep at your consulates is not allowed. Non-lethal weapons may be carried by all consular security staff. Lethal weapons can only be carried by two security staff of a consulate. A total of 6 lethal weapons may be kept at all three consulates. As a result of this, we cannot process your application at this time. However, you may submit a revised application that complies with our regulation and we will start considering your application again.

Dear Madam Secretary,
It is typical for Europan security forces to carry both a sidearm and a SMG as a standard loadout. We would prefer it if you would let us continue to operate in our standard procedure as our pistols are small and our SMGs are smaller than briefcases. However, if your nation is still uncomfortable at the amount of weaponry, then we will reduce it to 15 pistols, and 10 SMGs.
