Is there guaranteed religious freedom in your nation? There is absolutely no guarantee of religious freedom as it is punishable by death.

If there is, how is it guaranteed? Is delineated in your nation's constitution? n/a

If it is, what is the wording?

If there isn't guaranteed religious freedom, is there partial religious freedom or none at all? There is no freedom of religion in Aldinainia. According to the Decrees of May 17th, 1957, it's states that "the freedom to worship any deity, gods, or spiritual essences is unlawful and a disturbance due to its 'counterrevolutionary' doctrines and disobedience to the state."

If there is partial religious freedom in your nation, how is it codified? N/a

it depends really the parliament has a Law that outlines what can get a religion in trouble with the government

1.Religious Violence

2.your religion's leaders Lying to the government

3.Slavery

4.Caste systems or at least Caste discrimination

5.Cannibalism

should any of these be found to be true about a religion or they refuse to not do it in our country they can be outlawed and all Freedoms that came with it taken away.

Is there guaranteed religious freedom in your nation? Yes
If there is, how is it guaranteed? Is delineated in your nation's constitution? No, our constitution only outlines the form and duty of government offices and protocols. It is guaranteed by our Civil Code as an non-amendable statute
If it is, what is the wording? Religion shall not be curtailed unless it poses a threat to any given person, animal, or our nation.

Is there guaranteed religious freedom in your nation? No

If there is, how is it guaranteed? Is it delineated in your nation's constitution? The Vrree Nations have no constitution, and indeed no true central government. Each individual nation is allowed to conduct its internal affairs as it pleases.

If it is, what is the wording? N/A

If there isn't guaranteed religious freedom, is there partial religious freedom or none at all? In practice, there is hardly any religious conflict. Vrree take the attitude that "you have your god(s)/spirits/ancestors, and I have mine". Mockery and criticism is to be expected from time to time, but it usually isn't malicious, at least not nowadays. Pretty much the only source of real religious conflict is when the rites, practices and taboos of one group directly interfere with another's, and that almost never happens.

If there is partial religious freedom, how is it codified? Total religious freedom is the norm in practice, but it is not formally codified.

Wallenburg has legislation protecting freedom of religion, but there is a significant debate in the National Assembly of restricting further the rights of religious organizations. There is a constitutional clause emphasizing freedom of religion.

If it is, what is the wording?
EXCERPT FROM ARTICLE VII THE CONSTITUTION OF THE PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF WALLENBURG
NO LAW shall abridge the right of any Citizen to express his thoughts or peaceably assemble in public, nor shall any Law prohibit worship or practice of any Religion. There shall be no official Ideology or Religion of the State.

It really depends on your definition of religious freedom.

You can be in any religion, but there are no religious structures in mainland PUN, aside from a few Episcopal churches and Olympian temples. Religions don't get tax exemption, cannot deny service based on the having or lacking the religion of the customer, and can't have undue influence on politics. You're not guaranteed the ability to practice things in your religion that contradict PUN laws.

The Kiwi District (formerly New Zealand) has kept all its religious buildings and such, however, in an agreement made when we absorbed it.

These are human rules. Penguins are largely irreligious.

Letrastan guarantees religious freedom for all supporters of all religions, as long as this freedom does not conflict with the secular beliefs and lifestyles of the majority of Letrastanis. In addition, criticism of religion is always allowed under Letrastan's freedom of speech laws, and nobody is entitled to special privileges and protections on the basis of religion or ethnicity alone. Letrastani law applies to everybody inside the country, and unequal sentencing or application of religious laws in place of government ones is always prohibited.

Examples of how the equal status law is applied:
•Religious buildings are not exempt from architectural laws, and must be built in a style similar to nearby secular buildings.
•Mosques will be fined for creating excessive noise if they broadcast calls to prayer over a loudspeaker.
•Churches cannot ring their bells unless a nearby clock tower or other secular building is also ringing its bells.
•Jews will be charged with grievous bodily harm if they carry out circumcisions, just like anybody else who does so.
•Since I have not yet added much to my factbooks, please read my forum posts to find out more about Letrastan.
•I sometimes post things hastily without checking the tone. If I write a strongly worded post, please do not take it as a flame or personal attack.
•This nation does not represent my real-life views. My other nation Swazerland does.

Is there guaranteed religious freedom in your nation?
Partially, certain religions (*cough* Sunni Islam *cough* Spaghetti Lasagna Monster thingy *cough*)have been branded as terrorist organizations and banned. Others function freely though.

If there is, how is it guaranteed? Is delineated in your nation's constitution?
Only via Classic Lawcode, not constitutionally guaranteed in any way. A Plurality vote in the Unicameral Parliament is required to repeal.

Is there guaranteed religious freedom in your nation? Yes.

If there is, how is it guaranteed? Is delineated in your nation's constitution? The Law on the Guarantee of Free Worship 1910 is the primary legal instrument that guarantees religious freedom, with the Esquarian Human Rights Charter further entrenching said protection.

If it is, what is the wording? The Law on the Guarantee of Free Worship 1910 is too long to post here.

In HUElavia, all people have freedom to worship any religion or not worship any religion at all. However, it is illegal to carry out an act of discrimination or violence towards a certain religious group, which can result in a "blackout" (Group or individual church that caused the act of violence or discrimination towards a group will be shut down and closed) and jail time.

There is a state religion, but it only holds a ceremonial and cultural position in the government.

Is there guaranteed religious freedom in your nation?
Yes.

If there is, how is it guaranteed? Is delineated in your nation's constitution?
It is guaranteed by the written constitution, passed in 1947.

If it is, what is the wording?
人民有信仰宗教之自由。
"The people shall have the freedom to believe in religion."

If there isn't guaranteed religious freedom, is there partial religious freedom or none at all?
Religious freedom, like all others, are limited in practise. While religion is essentially thought, and freedom of thought is absolute, religious institutions are considered social organizations (whose formation is also constitutionally guaranteed under freedom of association), which must be registered with the Ministry of the Interior under current legislation. Religious institutions are not permitted to advocate illegal activity, and may be required from time to time to co-operate with the government, acting as venues for spreading public information and newsflashes.

If there is partial religious freedom in your nation, how is it codified?
The Ministry of the Interior at the central level, the Departments of Civil Affairs at the provincial level, the Bureaus of Civil Affairs at the county level, and the Offices of Civil Affairs at townships levels manage religious institutions. Government ordinances have legal force so long as they are authorized and not contradictory to primary legislation.

Is there guaranteed religious freedom in your nation?

It's guaranteed more by a sense of trust in the Domnaeni, and later in her Gaeltyn, than by any codified laws. There has not been any government-sponsored religious persecution in Shalotte's recorded history, nor does the Pantheon really allow for it; indeed, since the discovery of foreigners and their own beliefs, the Draéryn has taken a somewhat universalist view of other faiths ("foreign gods are like the fingers on a hand - each different, but all working to the same end" - High Draér Brigedn, 1995). So, Shalottes view this trust as being well-earned and largely safe from abuse.

If there is, how is it guaranteed? Is delineated in your nation's constitution?

Shalotte has no constitution. The above sense of trust stems from Domnaeni of the past promising such things as never inflicting harm on her subjects, or forcing them to do things they do not want to do. Though a hereditary monarch, the Domnaeni is seen very much as a servant of the people of the small country, rather than as an autocratic ruler. She is expected to act in their best interests.

If there isn't guaranteed religious freedom, is there partial religious freedom or none at all?

While not guaranteed, freedom of religion has been the norm for Shalotte for as long as history has been recorded.
