Kitacho Institute's Official Website

Welcome, one and all, to the official introduction of the Kitacho Institute, a Libertine City based organisation that specialises in any and all statistics regarding Pusatian tourism. And soon, we shall grasp with becoming Pusatia's foremost resource on any and all information regarding tourism, whether it be between cities or between planets.

Formed in 295* by Kitacho Honsa, our most eccentric founder, it had its humble start as an information centre for data on the most mountainous of regions that most travel companies dare not touch, now a hub of a wealth of information pertaining to any nook and cranny remaining on our beloved planet.

And now, in 315, with the advent of interstellar and interdimensional telegramatic communication, along with what our sources have informed us is a potential breakthrough in FTL travel, we're now scouring the realms beyond us for the types of vacation locations that Pusatians would wish to visit.

As newcomers into the intergalactic scene, we decided on the first indicator that they would want to think about as they travel to distant stars.

That indicator became the product you see now: The LGBT Friendliness Tourism Index.

The reason for such an oddly specific index, dear friends, is simple: Most Pusatians are bisexual.** In that sense, mainly covering the receptiveness of the locals, alongside with the potential feel of the location***, seemed the best route to go so as to gauge the possibility of travelling there.

However, as the index is covering all aspects of reality, we have been mindful about how there are nations that still exist in the dark ages of diseases, case in point being the case of AIDS/HIV or the common cold.

As such, without further ado, we welcome all our visitors to our first entry into the intergalactic equivalent of the Internet.

*2418 for all still using the Gregorian Calendar, which baffles us deeply.
**Many a historian, speculating why, have either mentioned our hedonistic tendencies, near impossible sense of naiveity, as evidenced by an adherence to the non-aggression principle, even our past of being an overly logical example of anarchy leading to a breakdown of sexual and gender customs altogether during that time period, or just plain genetics, all but the last of which has the consensus at the Kitacho Institute of being complete bullshit.
***The average Pusatian, remarkably enough, would not care about the LGBT world, albeit more due to the normalcy of the idea in our world. And by average, we mean more than 50%: Approximately ten to twenty percent of Pusatians display a significant interest in such activities, the majority residing in our former capital city. It's name is almost self-explanatory: Libertine City.

UPDATES

LCT stands for Libertine City Time

Entry time: 08:17 p.m. LCT, 30 Feb, 315

We apologise for the current lull in activity on our side regarding the analysis of your nations: We have been dealing with several problems lately, which we will not go into much detail about. The main one was that something caused the servers at the only company servicing intergalactic communications available to have their equipment literally ripped in half by a bunch of roving tanks.

Communications have been re-established, however, and we are now ready to start sending our analysis. We apologise in advance again for the possibility of an untrue analysis, for only a small number of applicants have amended their questionnaires due to the tiny semantic issues with our questions, hence forcing us to extrapolate your answers according to those in the other questions.

Regardless, however, we are dedicated to finishing our analysis of every single one of these applicants. Due to the speed analysis, however, due to another freak accident that occurred in the past week, we will have to go through these applications over a long period of time and, as such, would advise newer applicants to take note of this should you decide to fill out the form: Older applicants take precedence.

Entry time: 09:20 p.m. LCT, 15 Feb, 315

We have monkeys writing our questions, people. Or rather, the issue is on all of your sides, but here's another issue:

When the questions stating the issue with tourists getting hitched, it is meant to specifically reference gay couples, as opposed to couples in general. We are so sorry that the distinction had not been made clear, however obvious it had been thought to be that when the index related to LGBT tourism, that the subject in question would reference sexual minorities, we did point out that acknolwedging marriages outside of the nation did not also mean that the couple could be married within your borders, so we don't quite know.

Either way, forgive us for our errors.

Entry time: 08:22 p.m. LCT, 15 Feb, 315

There is a clerical error within the LGBT Friendliness Tourism Index Questionnaire in Question 6. in the Society section of the Positive category: It is not a response to the first question in the same section, but rather as a response to the first question in the previous section, under the Society section, with regards to the positive feelings of the locals towards sexual minorities. All applicants affected by this mindbogglingly stupid fucking piece of shit mistake may retract your answers in the affected question to reflect the correction.

We at the Kitacho Institute are so very sorry for the inconvenience.

Entry time: 11:27 p.m. LCT, 14 Feb, 315

Kitacho Institute officially goes on the intergalactic equivalent of the Internet, the signal for its presence beamed across hundreds of light years and through all interdimensional possibilities.
