Yeah, I have some Cosmoline around (I do have an actual use for it, I swear), and really its just not good for...well, anything besides keeping things preserved. Its REALLY good at that. And making a house smell like...well, cosmoline.

If the Egyptians used a compound similar to it to mummify people...its not the kind of thing you'll be wanting to use to lube your rifle.

Here is a question. I am sure y'all are familiar with roller delayed firearms. And since I am doing roller locked that's similar enough. My question is how large do the rollers need to be? Would 8mm in diameter and 7.5mm high (it's a cylinder) be enough? The rifle fires 7.5x55 Swiss.

Looking at a video of the Stgw.57 it seems to be about right. Is my estimate about right?

But yea, i have came to the conclusion that having NATO when my timeline doesnt adhere to certain historical events, Like the forming of NATO, it wouldnt make since to abandon a round that works as intended for decades in favor of a new one.

As a civilian, I'd carry a 9mm, with hollowpoints. If I was military, and had to deal with the Hauge Convention, I might want something slightly larger.
