Here at the Central Diplomatic Office we handle the day to day operations for co-ordination between our government and diplomatic missions, as well as handle processing of visas and non-confidential communications between foreign entities and our Foreign Ministry. What Types of Diplomatic Missions are Permitted Within Megekolonh
Megekolonh allows a foreign entity, who has official recognition, to apply for a Consulate or Embassy. Consulates, are not full fledged embassies, carry out processing of visas, and handle intergovernment communications. Embassies carry out the duties of a consulate as well as provide a trade and cultural mission as well.
What Regulations on Diplomatic Missions are Enforced
I. Consulates:
- A country may have 1 consulate, embassy, or interest section.
- Dilomatic Missions are granted extraterritoriality.
- Megekolonh bears no responsibility to maintain or finance a Diplomatic Mission.
- Diplomatic Mission must be located within the capital city and vicinity.
- Consulates may not house asylum seekers or refugees.
- Consulates may staff up to 10 diplomatic workers, 4 Service workers, and 3 Security Guards; we do not acknowledge diplomatic immunity.
- No aircraft, military vehicles, bulletproof/resistant glass, limousines, automatic weapons, lethal explosives, all firearms must be approved. Keep in mind gasoline and diesels are readily available while as ethanol, electricity, bio-diesel, and liquid hydrogen are the only available alternative fuels here
