Prime Minister Anthony Ashton warns that Azurlavai terrorist group "The Revenant" is a threat to all in the region, including Alizeria.
What We Do
The Department of Foreign and Cornellian Affairs (DFCA) promotes the interests of the Kingdom of Alizeria overseas, supporting our citizens and businesses around the world.
The DFCA is responsible for promoting Alizeria's national security by working to counter terrorism, weapons proliferation and working to reduce conflict while keeping in line with Alizeria's long standing policy of non-belligerence and neutrality.
It is also responsible for increasing exports and investments, opening markets, ensuring access to resources, and promoting sustainable growth.
The DFCA provides consular assistance for Alizerian nationals around the world and is responsible for His Royal Majesty's Diplomatic Service who represent the Alizerian government around the world.
The DFCA is a ministerial department, which is responsible for a range of other agencies and public bodies. The DFCA works closely with other government departments, including the Ministry of Defence and the Ministry of International Development.
Our Policies
The DFCA promotes a number of foreign policy objectives which are decided by the government. The top five policies that the DFCA seeks to promote at the present time are as follows:
Preventing the use of firearms in conflict
Research indicates that guns and firearms are the leading cause of death in war and conflict. As such the Alizerian government is seeking global co-operation to have the use of firearms in conflict banned by international law.
Promoting open markets and free trade
Alizeria has recently taken the step of abolishing tariffs and is currently seeking trading relationships. It encourages other nations to promote free trade and oppose protectionism in order to ensure worldwide prosperity.
Promoting human rights internationally
People all around the world are denied their rights every day. The Alizerian government supports programmes aimed at banning torture, abolishing the death penalty, increasing freedom of expression and allowing all people to take part in free and open elections.
Supporting developing nations
For centuries the tradition of noblesse oblige has been ingrained in Alizerian culture, stemming from the teachings of the Church of Alizeria. As a rich and developed nation, the Kingdom of Alizeria believes that it has a responsibility to ensure and develop the prosperity of poorer nations.
Supporting international action on climate change
Climate change is a real issue which could have devastating effects if it is not managed and if greenhouse gases are not reduced. As Alizeria is a small country, it must work at an international level to ensure this happens while promoting a policy of environmental sustainability at home.

Diplomatic Relations
Alizeria is a small country with a population of less than 4 million, located in the southwestern corner of Cornellia. However it is a proud and fiercely independent country which enjoys a high standard of living, high levels of peace and prosperity and low levels of corruption.
Under the terms of the Neutrality Act 1912 Alizeria is a strictly neutral country with a policy of military non-belligerency. However it seeks constructive relationships with all nations with a view towards promoting trade, prosperity and a fraternity of nations.
Alizeria is a member of the World Assembly and acknowledges the rights of diplomats to diplomatic immunity and safety under the terms of the Diplomatic Protection Act.
Firearms are strictly prohibited in Alizeria and will not be permitted for any reason or be allowed to pass through Alizerian territory, even if their final destination is an embassy. Applications of nations who cannot adhere to this law will be declined and diplomatic relations may be cancelled.
NOTE:
Nations the were not previously a part of the Cornellian Empire will have an Ambassador as their head of mission and be required to present their letter of credence to His Royal Majesty the King at Palatine Palace in Krostuk.
Nations that were previously part of the Cornellian Empire may opt to send a High Commissioner instead of an Ambassador and need only present a letter of credence to the Prime Minister.
ALIZAID
Although Alizeria is a small country, it is also one of the most generous - spending more per capita on foreign aid than any other nation in the region. The reasons for this can be traced back to the teachings of the Church of Alizeria, which maintain that the rich have a responsibility to the poor, and as such it has been the policy of successive Alizerian governments than rich nations have a responsibility towards poorer nations.
The Kingdom of Alizeria believes that bringing prosperity to one nation brings prosperity to us all in the long run and is therefore committed to delivering humanitarian aid to those who need it via ALIZAID.
ALIZAID is available to any underdeveloped nation who is making serious steps towards improving the rights of all its citizens. It is also available to more developed nations in the form of temporary relief from such things as natural disasters, famines or war.
Apply now to see if your nation is eligible for ALIZAID!
Please note that His Royal Majesty's Government has the right to reject an application or cancel foreign aid programmes for any reason.
Please also note that the Ministry of International Development may require certain conditions to be met, including commitments to certain human rights objectives or an abandonment of certain economic policies, before your nation may be considered eligible for ALIZAID.
Emigrate to Alizeria
The Parliament of Alizeria has recently enacted legislation which reforms Alizeria's immigration system, making it easier to settle in Alizeria. While previously only white people from Cornellia were entitled to emigrate to Alizeria, the new legislation allows for any citizen from any country to potentially enjoy a new life in Alizeria.
Alizeria offers four class of visa - Work, Study, Investment or Refugee. Permanent Residence is available to people who have lived in Alizeria for at least four years, citizen ship is available to people who have been Permanent Residents for four years (and have therefore spent at least eight years in Alizeria).
Any citizen of any country who is carrying a biometric passport is automatically entitled to a three month tourist visa. This will be granted upon your arrival in Alizeria, provided that you do not have any criminal convictions. Tourists are not entitled to accept paid employment in Alizeria.
NOTE: Immigration services are operated by the Home Department. The DFCA will take no responsibility for the quality of service you receive or the accuracy of the information provided. Please contact the Home Department for more information.
