A what-if scenario I came up with in my head which, in short, is where a Grey Jedi decides that he's had enough with the Jedi Order and the New Republic, defects to the remains of the Empire, pulls off a coup to put himself in power, manages to re-conquer most of the Galaxy, and then creates a new Imperial Order of Force-sensitives that is neither Jedi nor Sith and condemns both.

Given the fact I let it fester to its own devices for four years or so, I'd say I've thus far succeeded.

My goal is to get a nice population of around 20 billion. Game's so easy to play, I just never stop. Haha.

Sort of a culture arising from the intermingling between late Rome and the Germanic tribes, with neither quite losing cultural identity. Thus, they speak a pidgin dialect derived from a Romance basis, with a heavily West Germanic lexicon. Like Western Rome and the Holy Roman Empire, it is a very strongly catholic culture.

Originally? I just had the idea of "Australia with its own monarchy".

But I've changed Chelta so much since then that it is now almost unrecognisable from my original inspiration, and I'm even now undergoing a major overhaul of Chelta's backstory to change it even more.

So Chelta now is not really based on anything (although its culture is still based on Australian and British culture), but my libertarian political ideology has inspired many aspects of Chelta, including its history. Other historical influences on Chelta include medieval Iceland, the Lordship of Ireland and the Welsh marches.

Gojong is pretty easy to understand.. It's based on a Korean Empire that never fell, but expanded north into Manchuria and the Russia Far East.. It would go on to experience rapid economic growth like post-WWII Japan
