An amendment to the Lydenburg Constitution, approved in 1961, dictated the following:

''Any person who―''

''(a) maliciously destroys or spoils the National Flag of the State as described in section 4; or''

''(b) commits any other act which is calculated to hold the National Flag of the State in contempt; or''

''(c) without being authorized thereto (the burden of proof of which shall be upon him), removes the National Flag of the State as so described from any place where it is displayed in terms of instructions or directions issued by any element of authority,''

''shall be guilty of an offence and liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding BP$10,000 or imprisonment for a period not exceeding five years.''

''(1) If in any prosecution for an offence referred to in subsection, it is alleged that the flag in respect of which the offence is alleged to have been committed is or was the National Flag of the State as described in section 4, it shall be presumed, unless the contrary is proved, that the flag in question complies or, as the case may be, complied with the description of the National Flag in that section.''

Those who burn the flag of the Commonwealth, are rewarded death for such a treasonous act.

Its technically legal to burn the Althing's flag how ever its seen as going too far by the public; protesting the government, and its policies is one thing, burning the flag is seen as a declaration of war! While no legal charges will be brought forth, burning the flag will mark one for distrust (at best), or open hostility (as is usually the case) from the general public.

Burning a foreign flag is also a non legal issue, and is very unlikely to elicit the same response as burning our flag.

Legal as long at it doesn't present a fire hazard (so it'd be okay to, say, throw it in a bonfire, but not to light it up and wave it around, risking burning someone/lighting something else on fire).

Never. Our national flag is sacred and treating it in any negative way is a very serious crime, usually punishable by jail.

Burning the flag is considered declaring war on the state and will result in 1000 years hard labor.

It's not illegal in itself, so long as you don't endanger others by lighting the fire. Though as the flag is seen as a symbol of the revolution and the united proletariat, rather than the state or government, it's not going to be a very popular move.

As of 1931, Burning The Flag, or The Seal, or any former flags of The Nation is punishable with a ten-thousand Sumy fine and up to ten years federal imprisonment, however, burning the seals and flags of political offices is legal. The reasoning behind this legislation is that The Flag is the symbol of the nation, people, and their ideals, political symbols represent The Government, which is what protesters typically complain about. Burning the flags and symbols of allied nation is also illegal, however the harshest sentence can only be 6 months. Burning the flags and symbols of hostile nations and ideologies is legal.

Though there are no official laws banning the burning of the Ammerinian flag, but it is still largely hated by government officials and some citizens. They have been burned during some anti-government rallies however.

Burning any other nations flag is also looked down upon today, but was previously a common sight during wars.

It's legal you burn the flag of own nation, and other nations. It is not normal to burn the flag, because the people are very patriotic ...
But if you make a racist tirade against the population of the South, it is a crime.

Legal but not advised. If the burning flag endangers lives, then you can be fined and face prison time.
Why is it not advised? Well, simple. Our citizens are usually extreme patriots and you'll get a bad rep as "flag burner, country hater".

Flag burnings must adhere to Zunkwentanian fire code, and are widely looked down upon; most Zunkwentanians prefer a nice protest in community hall, a fixture of all Zunkwentanian counties, which allows small scale protests, and chances to be seen by local officials; however, louder protests are allowed.

The Senate has not spoken on the matter formally. Courts consider flag burning in private acceptable for the purpose of destroying the flag, and in public acceptable under the right of free speech, but typically only if the protestor has attempted to gain attention in a different way first. Burning a flag you do not own is a violation of property rights.
The Leveat that can be spoken of is not the true Leveat,
but it is a pretty close alternative, in any case. You can talk about it if you want.
