How is healthcare if your country

Postby Afro-Euasia » Wed Aug 20, 2014 5:00 am

How is healthcare in you country,If you have healthcare, how is it better then other countries, how does it work.I want to see how goverment give their citizens healthcare. This is how my country's citizens get healthcare

1.Citizens must get healthcare,and they have 3 options.1.General,2.Goverment based,Citizen based.
The first option is general,In which people have to save %10 of their income for the future if you have to go to a specalist or a hospital and another half of payments are brought by the goverment, mostily co-pays for drugs or for a doctor's visit.2. is goverment based,In which citizens save %5 of their income but must pay a higher co-pay mostily to see a specalist or you are hospitalized, unless you have a condition or you are over 65,then co-pays are lowered down a bit.3. is citizen based. In which you save %15 of you income and you get little to no co-pays if you are poor and higher co-pays for the rich.

People also can have retierment funds in which they start at 45 and you stop paying when at 65,for home care or a retirement home
This is most of the system in a nutshell
Btw,feel free to rate the nation's health care above

Geadland has a two-tier health care system. Emergency care is funded by the government, while most health expenses are paid for by mandatory private insurance. The government also subsidises the insurance of the poor and high-risk patients. The private insurance market is regulated; an insurer must charge equal costs for customers regardless of their age, gender or health conditions.

In the Community of Aipotu Ruo, free healthcare is provided for the citizens by the government. This is why on the overview it says that our country is "remarkable for its national health service".

It's free and funded by tax payers. Though there are private clinics you can go to if you're willing to pay for them. Private clinics usually don't have much of a waiting list.

Our state insurance system covers all emergency care, and most non-emergency care other than vanity procedures. Sex changes are covered as well if the procedure is prescribed by a psychiatrist or psychologist specializing in gender identity. Private insurance may be purchased as a supplement to the state program, but every resident is covered by state insurance. Non-resident non-citizens have higher fees for most procedures, but emergency lifesaving care is always free.

Hospitals are usually privately owned and operated, but have heavy government oversight to ensure compliance with national policy.

There is no healthcare funding at the national level. Labour Party-controlled county councils will often subsidise healthcare, but otherwise healthcare is left to individuals to purchase. However, the current Government, under the command of the Conservative Party, has been working to keep healthcare costs low by reducing inflation, opposing nurses' unions, cutting taxes, and encouraging economic development, allowing more people to have well-paying jobs.

Despite being a "Capitalist Hellhole" we maintain a single-payer universal health system for the sake of the centralization of government infrastructure.

We spend nearly 6.3 Trillion USD in the operation and maintenance of state hospital across the empire, as well as the medical expenses of all Britannian citizens. Tourism visas and passports are allowed to be used as a way for foreigners to be attended, illegals and people without the proper identification would not be serviced.

Hardly existent. There are a seldom few amount of manufacturers in Hython which manufacture more 'modern' medical goods for the Draan Knights to use on those who approach them for medical care, and for use during any conflicts. Though for the most part, we remain posed with difficulty of finding means to apply most of these medicines, as they often lack the potency to work on the Draan, or we are at a loss when it comes to diagnosing what a problem is, or what a problem needs.

Whilst larger Dragons are immune to every percieved disease to date, there is no means to otherwise fix their injuries or provide care for them. Abnormalities are far and few, but have to be lived with anyhow. Likewise, it's not uncommon to find one such Dragon scarred as a result of uncovered wounds which bled for hours on end until they were cauterized by their own fire in a painful procedure - all Knights can really do to aid such Drakes is to make recovery easier by providing sustenance, since crippling injuries might stunt their ability to hunt.

For the most part, tonics, poultices and natural remedies are also used to good effect, in addition to salvaged equipment and captured / ascended individuals who have medical knowledge. The nature of the Draan means that there are few who strive to help one-another. The few who do already walk the pious path among the Knights in order to peruse such tasks. Inevitably, this means that we even go as far as to value Humans who have Medical Knowledge.

Medical Care is free, though. For everyone. Except foreigners, because they shouldn't be in Ruskarkand in the first place. Not that they'd want it.

"Healthcare in the Constitutional Matriarchy is provided by a publicly-funded national health service called the Reloria Selodé delá Socieli. Free at the point of delivery, the Reloria Selodé delá Socieli offers comprehensive, holistic healthcare at all levels, and is said to support the well-being of all citizens "from cradle to grave". It is funded by a combination of government finance and national insurance contributions, and governed by the Healthcare Office of the Matriarch's Council at a national level. A local Reloria Selodé delá Socieli office exists in each borough in Reloria, with some degree of autonomy when it comes to tailoring local services to the healthcare needs of its population, with some input from the local authorities.

Quality monitoring is provided by a number of independent organisations, both on a national and independent level, all of which encourage patient engagement and feedback."

- Excerpt from Reloria National Factbook - Demographics > Healthcare

Reloria spends the equivalent of a small nation's entire GDP on health services, with the result being a comprehensive care network available to people from all walks of life. A significant redesign of care provision is currently underway, as an ageing population living with more long-term conditions places strain on the system.

Ayermani is fortunate to have a very comprehensive range of health services. The Ayermanian government is very much committed to its principles of a universal access to high-quality health care in which the local Ministry of Health offers through wide varieties of nationwide networks of clinics and hospitals. However, in spite of the dedication of the government to provide the best possible health care, there are still some problems that are unsolved, and one of those is the unavailability of quality health care centers in remote areas. When patients are transferred from a specific health center to a more probable hospital, doing so not only incurs some inconveniences on the part of the patient and the family, but also adds costs to the health care systems. In order to deal with the issue, a tool has been designed called the tele primary care. This method helps the doctors in remote areas to discuss problem cases by tele-consultations with specialists and doctors on hospitals.
The Ayermanian government is continually striving to make the healthcare system better but there is still a dearth of medical expertise in the country and their high concentration in the urban areas. The current efforts in the past few years have certainly made developments for the health care system in Ayermani.

NOTE:
Ayermani is a Modern Tech/Modern Era nation.

Healthcare here is free and tax funded for all residents of Wales-and-Cornwall and some residents of foreign countries. All expenses including dental care, GP visits and prescriptions are free of charged and covered under the system.

It has its origins in the Welsh Revolution of 1822. The government established after the revolution created what it called the Social Insurance System where all people payed money into it and they would receive medical care, education and benefits should they need them. This was one of the first Welfare systems in the world. In 1882, Wales-and-Cornwall evolved into a modern welfare state. Welfare is still called the Social Insurance System.
