In the Italian Social Republic there are a number of police forces.
First and foremost, the Administration of Public Security is the general law enforcement organization, handling the vast majority of cases, from criminal investigations, to political police duties, to administrative regulations enforcement (and general direction of local regulations enforcement). It is also the organization which is ultimately responsible of riot control and riot suppression. The Administration of Public Security is a mixed organization, i.e. it consists of a civilian police nationwide network (the Directorate-General of Public Security) with civilian officials and of a military corps (Republican Police Corps), which is part of both the Directorate-General and the Italian Armed Forces. The Public Security organization also has a civilian uniformed Female Police Corps, whose personnel is usually assigned to Vice Squads.

Alongside the Administration of Public Security there are two specialist police corps: the Republican Financial Guard, a Gendarmerie-like corps dealing which financial offences and with financial investigations for other offences, and the State Forestry Corps, which is tasked with both police and technical environmental assistances duties.

Finally, the Volunteers Militia for National Security is a militia corps tasked with political and State defence duties. It is essentially the National Fascist Party's armed wing and deals with political surveillance (in competition with State police and intelligence organizations) and with crowd and riot control support.

There are three police forces in Kjalara, the normal Police, the armed rural Police (which are similar to the Carabinieri or Gendarmes) and the Hirdmen, which is a paramilitary organization with police powers.

Police are highly trained in our nation and our trained in battalions of 450 in cities they carry tactical batons as well as 9mm pistols.
Swat units are trained like military police and are used as riot breakers.

The nation is policed largely by its military, but more formal investigative police departments have begun to surface in certain areas.

The National Police (pictured above) is a subject of the Ministry of Justice. They deal with crime, keep order on the streets and make sure to provenet demonstrations and unrest by generous appliance of force. Equipment includes handguns, batons, shotguns and tazers. Terrorism, riots, especially dangerous criminals and special operations is not part of their responsibilities, and is instead handled by the heavily armed security forces.

Colonial Constabulary Department

STRUCTURE
The Colonial Constabulary Department is a multijurisdictional department that operates without borders in all 34 Colonial Districts.
The Department is divided into two main forces; The Colonial Police and the Constabulary Service.

The Colonial Constabulary Service is an agency belonging to the Colonial Constabulary Department and serves as both a Colony wide criminal investigative organization and an internal intelligence agency. The CCS is the lead Radicchian investigative agency, the lead Radicchian counterterrorism agency and the lead Radicchian counterintelligence agency. It is the Colony's security service, and is a component agency of the Colonial Intelligence Community. The CCS has investigative jurisdiction over violations of more than 200 categories of crime.

The Colonial Police are subdivided into 2 aditional groups:
1: Transport police; The Transport Police store their vehicles at roadside stations (constructed every 100 miles) and are tasked with enforcing traffic laws, motor carriage inspection, air traffic control and maritime patrol/port authority.

2: The Public Police; The Public Police store their vehicles at local precinct buildings or court houses. They are tasked with enforcing all public laws and are by far the largest law enforcement entity in the Colonies.

UNIFORM

The CCS agents wear a simple black suit and tie, these suits are issued by the service and laundered by the service.

Transport Police wear a basic khaki jumpsuit, black leather boots and a cap, these jumpsuits are issued by the Transportation Authority but they are the responsibility of the officers themselves.

Public Police wear a simple drab ripstop shirt and pants with a slouch hat, these uniforms are issued by the precincts but they are the responsibility of the officers themselves.

WEAPONS

All Colonial Constabulary Department Agents and Officers are issued the same two weapons, a Wexler-Pacificator 1911 Handgun and a PSC 7-30 Bolt action Rifle.
Tasers, bio-disruptive devices (such as strobes, laser strobes and low modulation sound generators) and less-than-lethal sprays are prohibited for both civilian and police use.

VEHICLES

Most Colonial Constabulary Department Agents and Officers drive the Wexler Jitty-18 Police edition.


Many Transport Police drive the Wexler H-10 Police Motorcycle and sidecar.

The HPCDC Urban Division is generally used in most cities, though the more rural areas use local militias. They are armed with 9mm pistols, tasers, pepper spray, and night sticks. Their uniforms are khaki pants, white polo shirts, black ties, and white pith helmets. They are not allowed to wear body armor outside of the government declared "red zones".
