There is no official version of the flag standing of LGBT rights, in fact so is it officially illegal to deface the king's flag. However so is this not an enforced law and during LGBT rallies so are the eagle often replaced with two interlocked symbols that combines the alchemical symbols for iron and mercury by adding the cross from the mercury symbol to the Iron one. Some other symbols also include the eagle on top of the symbol but these are generally rarer. This is supposed to symbolise both masculinity and femininity joined without taking gender into account. More elaborate flags also have the eagle dressed in drags added beside or on top of the symbol.

The rainbow flag is becoming somewhat used from time to time but it remains first and foremost a symbol for death in combat and bravery in the Scanderan mindset as it symbolizes the bridge to Gyllenheim in Scanderan heraldry and imagery.
