This bureau is under construction, though we are still open at this time.
In late 2013, talks began with several organizations in forming a large, unified agency in which regulation and co-operation could be readily available to its members. The unregulated and scattered companies were efficient themselves, but the media companies began to see more potential in uniting together in providing both quality service and quality material to consumers. The final documents and paperwork were completed at the end of 2013, and the UNSMG was launched mid-2014, with its first appointed Chairman of the Board, Harold Boss of ETV.
While the original group consisted only of several companies, specialized only in the news industry, it has since then grown larger and more interconnected that before, with the technology and industry sectors making its debut at the agency. As well, previously only open to membership from regional allies and domestic companies, membership has expanded to allow international integration into UNSMG.
A more detailed account of our history can be viewed by visiting UNSMG's World Headquarters at Global Economics & Trade.

In order to better interact with foreign nations and their latest happenings, our correspondent program sends some of our top reporters into nations that welcome our presence. The purpose of this program is to encourage co-operation between our agency and nations, as well as promote the free flow of information. Each nation is limited to 2 correspondents from UNSMG, who will not interfere with national operations, but will report back on the latest happenings. Currently, the only place our Board has agreed to send reporters is to foreign embassies and consulates, though this may extend to major cities in the future.
If you wish for a UNSMG correspondent in either establishment in your nation, please fill out a brief application below, and we will be more than happy to respond. To be able to include more nations, an embassy thread is not necessary to lodge a correspondent request.
