Judicial Branch:
Designated by a combined effort of Parliament and Executive branch votes
Must be approved by 2/3rds of both branches
Heavily based on the United States supreme court

Executive Branch:
Voted for every 3 years, President can have up to 2 terms, Vice president takes over is President is sick, has died, or some other way of being incapacitated
President and VP voted for by citizens, total democracy
Not your ordinary jig
Economic Left/Right: 1.25
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -4.10

We are ruled by the Reason Party and run by Central Planning Committees. The Reason Party decides on social issues through debates, and everyone can have their own opinion. The Supreme, the big guy, is elected by the Reason Party. The supreme can be replaced by a 75% majority vote. Central Planning Committees control the resources and labor of their respective regions, and if they are bad at what they do, they are replaced by someone who is competent.

Yottabota is ruled as a dictatorship but not a total dictatorship. Laws, Declarations of War, and low level diplomacy are handled by the "Court of Generals", a congress style branch of government that is comprised of the nation's low and high ranking Army, Navy, and Air Force generals, as well as the directors of the several Special Task Forces and Intelligence Agencies.

Then there is the "Court of the People", however it is not an actual law making or decision making branch, instead it is a way for the citizens of Yottabota to directly contact the "President", Tali Zalore, in person and try and get her to change small things in how the way the country is run. Those who do voice their opinions do run the risk of being detained since the country does not permit freedom of speech, but does promote freedom of artistic expression.

Then there is the "Court of the Corporations and Activists", where Corporations, which are not considered "people", and activists to butt heads at problems concerning the Environment, National Health and Regulations, Education and Gun Control. Before Tali Zalore's rule, the branch was once called the "Court of the Corporations, Activists, and Religion", but religious practices have been outlawed and are now punishable by death.

At the top of the tower is the "Court of the Ruler", which is where everything goes to be finalized by the ruler of Yottabota, Madam Tali Zalore, or be veto'd and once a law is veto'd it can no longer be brought up. If it does, the law maker incharge can be trailed for "Wasting the Ruler's time" a crime punishable by death.

BY THE POWER OF GRAYSKULL

Vsenyslavia is a Semi-Parliamentary Monarchy, ruled by a Tzar or Tzarina, or both, or two of either. They have more or less absolute power, but leave most of the ruling to the Parliament of Dukes.

- To become a Tzar or Tzarina, you must be over 17, and then further either be married to a Tzar or Tzarina, be appointed heir by the previous one who the dies or abdicates, or if the previous dies or abdicates without an appointed heir, be an Archduke or Archduchess and be chosen by the Parliament of Dukes. If you're an heir under 17 and the Tzar or Tzarina abdicates or dies, the country is jointly rules by the Archdukes until you turn 17.

- To become an Archduke or Archduchess you must be a duke or duchess within one of the three Archduchies and must be elected by the inhabitants of the Archduchy.

- To become a duke or duchess, you must be the closest oldest relative of the previous duke or duchess within the newest generation possible and over the age of 15.

The Parliament of Dukes is a council of all the Dukes and Duchesses, and while being a duke is hereditary, the actual positions in the cabinets, like for instance Minister of Defence or Minister of Health, are elected, by the populace.

Les pays d'en haut are ruled by the Council of the 13 ruling clan leaders. To become a ruling clan leader you need to be a clan leader and kill one of the 13 ruling clan leaders and you take his place on the Council.

The catholic church also have a strong influence in les Pays d'en haut and the people don't have many liberties and you can be executed (beheaded) for many offences.

Easy way to explain is Xino I (1982-2000) the 11 ruler was hated by everyone so he changed our nation from an absolute monarchy to constitutional monarchy. His son Georges VI allowed this to carry on..
Then his son Georges VII changed George spain to a absolute monarchy again but he was more fair than other kings and queens therefore George Spain was happy with him...

It's not. Sometimes a leader of a faction declares themselves as the new leader of Russia. Then they're toppled. Repeat. Repeat again. Word is that president Putin along with his oligarchs is still controlling Russian federation but from behind the scenes... or inside his nuclear bunker.
This nation is the Russian federation on the 24th century after a worldwide nuclear holocaust, so it might still be quite a bit radioactive.

Egrek is ruled by the Monarch and the Congress of Representatives, through the Parliament and the Cabinet.

The Monarchy is usually hereditary, if the Monarch wishes to appoint a non-hereditary heir the choice must be approved by the Congress.
The Representatives of the Congress are elected by the people to discuss issues and may propose bills to the Parliament. Anyone who whishes to enter the higher bodies of government must first be elected to Congress by the people.

The Parliament is the legislative body of Egrek, they make the laws; members are appointed by the Monarch from previously elected Representatives of Congress.
The Cabinet is the upper Bureaucracy of Egrek, they carry out the laws; members are elected from Congress, by Parliament, and approved by the Monarch.

Any member of Parliament, member of the Cabinet, or law may be nominated for removal by the Monarch, the Congress then votes on whether to ratify the removal. Representatives cannot be removed from Congress nor the Monarch from the throne.

5. General's Staff; High Command of the Armed Forces
6. Various Ministries; The people in charge of Internal Affairs, Foreign Affairs, Trade, Civil Services, Education and such

9. Gestapo, SiPo, Kripo; State Police, Security Police, Criminal Police
Proud advocate that Europe stands stronger together than divided. The EU may be flawed in some areas but the idea of a united Europa can only bring good fortune to Europe and the world. For more than two thousand years, Europe was home to conflicts inspired by coveting one another's territory and resources, even making the continent the home to some of the world's most destructive and costly conflicts. But the idea was all wrong in their minds. Their idea was to bring this territory or that under their flag and spread influence on the continent. The idea they should all have been thinking was that the goal should be to bring the continent under one unified flag.

Senators are elected to three year terms and advise the Chancellor on matters of state and some foreign relations issues as requested. The military is chaired by the Commandant of Strategic Defense who serves as head of the Strategic Defense Agency. Supreme Court justices are appointed by the Chancellor and confirmed by the Senate and serve life appointments. The diet is overseen by Somen Nemos who was elected chief fourteen years ago. Matters are often small and local and engorced only by the world of the village leader.

The Citizenry of Lalaki is a combination of representative and direct democracy.

There are two ways a law can pass. One way is the elected legislature (terms last six months with a limit of four terms) passing legislation, with authorization by the President. The President of Lalaki is elected based on real-time endorsement of the people (similar to how WA delegates are chosen). People can change their preference at any time, and if another person assumes the majority of endorsements, he/she enters office and replaces the incumbent within a month.

The second way is by at least 25 percent of Lalakians petitioning for a policy directive to be passed. If this is done, all citizens can vote on it come the next election.

Postby Southern Hampshire » Tue Nov 04, 2014 1:36 pm

There are five layers to Southern Hampshire's governance.

The first layer is purely local. Each ward with a maximum of 50 000 citizens will elect their own representative who will take their ward and represent them at level two. They virtually have no power other than vetoing any council changes to their ward.

The second layer is local. Every ward will be allocated to a local council which will be formed from adjacent wards. Each council is allocated 500,000 citizens, or essentially, 10 representatives. They will mutually decide on local decisions and all have vetoing power if something will affect their ward that they do not want. They have very strictly limited power that is limited to education, emergency services and industry. All land, infrastructure and civil disputes are sorted on this level, with a supreme judge directly elected by the electorate for each council. The National Supreme Court cannot overrule any civil cases solved by council judicial systems, but they can vote out a supreme judge, who also sits in the NSC.

The third layer is the state level. In this federation, each state elects their own President. There are 12 states and each ward belongs to a particular state depending on their location. Wards can be in a different state but in the same council as different wards from different states. Each state has budget allocation powers amounting to 80% of their total taxation. There are 12 different states, and each President from every state elects one candidate from a different state (who also mustn't be a (former-)President themselves) to sit on the Federal Council.

The fourth layer is the business layer. Every business with more than $1 million in revenue (pre-taxation) will have a vote. Every $1 million in revenue will amount to one vote. Businesses may vote on matters that affect Business, Industry, Economy and Public Accounts. Businesses with less than $20 million in revenue will be able to use all their assets, plus their revenue, as a vote, in hope for more representation for small businesses. So $15 million in revenue and $20 million in assets will amount to 35 votes. There is no limit to the amount of votes in the Business layer, however, they only amount to 40% of the total policy vote. The other 60% vote is decided by the councils, and whichever combined amount wins confidence it will become a policy in the state level.

The fifth layer is the national layer. Each one of the 12 states' President elects one candidate from a different state and these sit on the Federal Council. The Federal Council has control over 20% of each state's treasury, which becomes the national treasury when combined. That budget is then allocated to the remaining areas untouched by previous layers, mainly concerning Defence, Research and State Development. The State Development is a fund organised by the Federal Council to make sure each state is running smoothly. Removing any deficit is the prime focus of the State Development, followed by actual development of every state economically and socially.

Layers one (and essentially two) and three have direct elections every three years. Layer five is elected by layer three three years after layer three is elected. Essentially, all elections happen at once.
Layer four is recounted every two years. Voting power is recounted for every pre-tax million in odd numbered years with a gap-year between for the purpose of preventing mergers to have a groundbreaking vote power. The previous votes held by mergers will be deleted until the recount, therefore rendering them non-existent.

Overall, the country is very electorate-oriented and as the majority of citizens agree, 'fair'.
