Vektes is governed by the Primarchs, twenty of the strongest, most experienced and loyal of Vektan leaders - The people don't elect Primarchs, Only the other Primarchs may elect a new one once one dies or steps down. Although to the eye this may seem a very flawed system ripe for corruption and misuse, Corruption is virtually nonexistent thanks to the civic duty, loyalism and discipline all Vektans learn in their youth.

The three main branch of government are headed out in a very unique way typically called a Semi-Absolute Monarchy in which an established monarch rules along side a democratically elected body.

The executive is our King or Queen (this title currently held by Vereúlfer IX) and he acts as executive for life. He has a range of powers including the use of a small number of military forces, determining diplomatic policy, and diplomacy as well as doing an executives duty and ether voting for or vetoing legislation which passes by him. He has the ability to both propose and debate legislation and gather a recessed legislature for any reason as well as the ability to have a select number of "Royal Decrees" in which he can place policy but is only allowed this ability three Tim's in his rule and said decrees can not contradict the constitution. The king is not a hereditary position rather a king chooses ether a son, daughter, or one of his brother or sisters children to succeed him based on experience and qualification however of ether the king dies before he can appoint a successor or his choice is deemed not appropriate the Regency Council a group of 9 men from Academia, Military, Royal, and civilian backgrounds come together to vote on who shall become king.

The legislative is headed by the Council of Commons which is a elected unicameral non-partisan legislature which operates under the Congressional System. Council members (called Ráðimöðlimúr) are elected to represent 550 districts through an Instant-runoff voting system. The Council is tasked with operating and authorizing use of mass military force (usually deployments over 300 troops), Determining a budget for the government, drafting and debating policy and laws as well as voting on said laws. The legislature also has the ability to review and and pass treaties.

The Judicial branch is headed by the Grand Court a court made up of nine judges whome are themselves representatives of the nine different judicial districts in the nation and are appointed by that districts sub-grand court. They are tasked with reviewing laws and their legality in refinance to the constitution of Insaeldor as well as holding the ability to indict the legislative branch or any non-royal members of government. They have the ability to strike down laws and block laws from going to vote. The also have the ability to dissolve the Council of Commons and call for new elections if it's been proven that the Council is not performing it's duties.

The Regency council is a separate entity within government which is tasked with dealing with the king himself and is made up of 9 members mostly appointed with two elected members. 2 members are the heads of the Institute or Education the highest not governmental educational authority in Insaeldor. 2 are the two top military leaders within the nation, 1 is the head of the largest single religion in Insaeldor, 2 are high ranking members of the royal family and 2 are elected officials. Each and every has Veto power over the other so a 9-0 consensus must be made. They are tasked with both designating a proper successor if one does not exist and to call or force for a kings abdication if he has clearly breached the law.

The Irish People's Republic is a benevolent socialist federation. It is structured somewhat similarly to the old Yugoslavia and is ideologically quite similar too.

Many political parties and groups exist in Ireland but only United Irishmen - the established party - can govern and contest federal and state elections. The public are free to vote for representatives on a federal, state and local level but all candidates are UI candidates.

Whoever is General Secretary of United Irishmen automatically becomes Taoiseach (Head of State and Government). The Taoiseach is elected by the legislature.

Although the country is technically a dictatorship, the citizens have a lot of freedoms and wealth and thus there is little opposition to the regime.

•Taoiseach: Tighearnán Ó Cinnéidigh
•Official languages: Irish, Ulster Scots, English
•Type of government: Federal socialist benevolent dictatorship

Our country is a Parliamentary-Based Democracy, with slight differentials.
Members of Parliament, or "The Elective Council" are elected by citizens depending on their location. Once every member of the Council is settled, they will elect a Manutia, who is control of the national government.

There is also the "Advisement Council", which have the power to remove a member of the Elective Council or Manutia with good reason, and will take a vote on it.

And the final council, or the "Central Council", are in charge of managing government funds and where taxes go to, come from, and amounts.

There is a democratic lower house where every electorate of 20,000,000 citizens gets to elect a pair of representatives, this house then elects a speaker who is the leader of this house. The house sits on the first and third week of every month for a regular session but extraordinary sessions may be called at any time.

There is also a meritocratic senate with 1000 seats for senators chosen through competitive examinations, these exams for the majority of these seats focus on general knowledge, the ministerial seats also have additional questions that focus on the area of knowledge relevant to the portfolio of that ministry. The prime ministerial seat in the senate has an exam that incorporates all of the ministerial exams in addition to a double length general knowledge exam. The senate sits on the second and forth week of every month for a regular session but extraordinary sessions may be called at any time.

Committees formed of both senators and representatives meet regularly to discuss various issues related to their purpose and to draft legislation related to these issues for consideration by the full legislature.

The head of state is the Monarch, who is Queen Anastasia Elizabeth Johns. This post is ceremonial and carries no legislative power. The monarch must give royal assent to legislation passed by the legislature. The exception is that the monarch is required to refuse assent when they have a petition from no less than 75% of the population that says they must not. And in this case the monarch must refuse to grant assent to that legislation.

The head of government is the Prime Minister who is Anastasia Elizabeth Johns (who is also the Queen, but earned the role of PM by getting the highest score in the prime ministerial exam). The prime minister has the right to veto legislation.

Elections for the house of representatives are held every 5 years. All citizens are required to vote in these elections.
Senatorial exams are held every 5 years , and all citizens without a felony on their criminal record may take the exam.

We have his Imperial Majesty, Maharaja Parth of House Datar, who rules over the people. He is the Chief Diplomat and Chief of State. He holds the title of Emperor which will be inherited by his son, Arch Prince Parth II. Maharaja Parth makes the decision after taking the advice of his royal cabinet, and the Law Enforcement Committee makes sure that the decision abides by the Royal Hindustani Articles of Law. The Department of Economy is usually held by one of the Emperor's closest friend who is of noble house. That friend must be approved by the Guilds to serve the position. The same goes for all other departments. There is a balance of aristocracy and plutocracy.

Our nation is ruled by both the Elected Monarch and the British in a form of diarchy as an agreement on the 1707 and 1714 The Treaty of Baganga, however the powers of the British Monarch is limited as he/she acts as an second adviser and defense moderator to the Elected Monarch, While the role of the elected monarch is combined both governor-general and a prime minister into one as he/she has a power to sign laws but it requires a referendum first in both devolved and national, declare wars and alliances and to dissolve the Parliaments.

Through direct democracy.

The legislative process is simple and transparent. First, a citizen submits a proposal to the Council, outlining what they want to happen. If accepted, the Council then refines this proposal into a bill, which they present to the public. This bill is then debated and discussed for at least a month before the people place their vote.

Back when the nation was small, all of the debating and voting was done in person. The Asterville Town Hall (which still stands today) was built specifically for this purpose, and is still used as such today. But as the population grew into the thousands, having everyone in one place proved impractical. The metaphorical last straw was the Stampede of 1991, where a particularly rowdy debate (on marriage, surprise surprise) turned into an all-out brawl.

We were prepared to transition to a representative system, until one fellow pointed out the infrastructure lying under our very hooves. At the time, every citizen of the Isle was connected to a fast, secure communications network -- the Internet. Why not use that?

The new system -- "Voterweb" -- was rolled out over the following decade. First came remote voting, then televised debates... just last year we deployed a wiki system for submitting proposals. Our leadership in the implementation of democracy is a point of national pride.

Arkiasis is a Federal, Parliamentary, Constitutional, representative democratic Republic. The Arkiasis government operates under the framework of the current Constitution of Arkiasis which was created in 1970. Amendments generally require a two-thirds majority of both chambers of parliament; the fundamental principles of the constitution, as expressed in the articles guaranteeing human dignity, the separation of powers, the federal structure, and the rule of law are valid in perpetuity.

The Prime Minister is the Head of government and is the highest official of government. They are elected as the leader of a party whose members form a plurality in Parliament. The Prime Minister is invested with and exercises executive powers in Government.

The President is the head of state and the second highest official of the government. They are elected by the Parliamentary Convention (a meeting between both chambers of Parliament generally held after a federal election) and are invested primarily with representative responsibilities and powers and are also the Speaker of the House of Representatives. The President then appoints the Vice President, the third highest official and the Speaker of the Senate.

Federal legislative power is vested in the parliament consisting of the House of Representatives and Arkiasis Senate, which together form the legislative body. The House of Representatives is elected through a Mixed-Member Proportional Representation system where 325 members are elected via First fast the Post system comprising of electoral districts, and another 325 members are voted in a nationwide party list system which political parties are then allocated seats by how many votes they received. The 200 seat Arkiasis Senate is elected through a Single transferable vote system consisting of 100 electoral districts with 2 seats each.

The General People's Congress elects Presidents, but only if the candidate can be approved by the New People's Revolutionary Guide Council, aka the central committee. Both bodies's members are nominated and approved by the other, and we rarely have time-crossing and if they do, the GPC will be renominated first then the NPRGC. Usually this situation would only take 6 months after for the new GPC to approve the new NPRGC candidates.

Tarmina was unified in the form of a confederacy in 1941, but was only a democracy under Stamatis Kalopalis' two terms as President, until 1949. From 1949, the monarch, with support from the military, seized power and retained it until his death in 1998.

Elections were held in 2000 and resulted in the popular Archimedes Eleftheriadis being elected President and serving until his assassination in 2005. From there, his initially freedom-loving and pro-democracy party grew increasingly corrupt and authoritarian. No national elections have been held since 2004, and the country is in practice governed by the Democrat Party (non-ideological nationalist party), as well as the growing mafia families. The opposition, led by the Populist Party, mostly consists of satellite groups controlled by the government.

The Federal Kingdom is ruled by a Minister President. He is basically a prime minister, but I did not feel like that title fit well with my nation. He is the leader of the ruling party, currently the Liberal Party.

The Minister President rules until one of the following three circumstances arise: 1) He dies, 2) He resigns, or 3) He is removed by a vote of no confidence.

He can declare war, approve bills, appoint certain postions, etc. The Council of Ministers is appointed by the monarch, King Godfrey III.

The legislature is the Federal Council, and each member bears the title of "Lord." The leader of the Federal Council is called the "Lord Speaker." He is appointed by the Minister President. The rest of the Lords are elected by the people.
The Federal Council can make bills, levy taxes, impose tariffs on foreign products, and add amendments to the Constitution.

The judicial branch has the Royal Court led by a chancellor. Below him are six magistrates. They decide if a bill is constitutional or not and can put the Minister President on trial if the majority of the Ministers vote to do so. The magistrates are elected by the people while the chancellor is appointed by the King.

This nation does reflect my IRL views unless something is more interesting to differ from what I believe otherwise. For example, Welskerland is a constitutional monarchy, while I prefer a republic IRL.

The parliament, known as the Magisterium of Wintanceastre (French: le Magistère de Wincestre) is formed up by the house of commons, magisters elected every 5 years, and the house of lords, magisters made up of gentry and aristocracy. The Prime Minister is appointed by the King, and is meant to be able to lead and unify the Magisterium to allow for an efficient and democratic process to be observed.

Lacamarie has a three-branch government system similar to that of America and Canada.

-Executive: The Grand Duke (or Grand Duchess) enforces the law and wields veto power over Congress
-Legislative: Comprised of Parliament and the Senate of Nobles. They draft and pass laws which the Grand Duke or Duchess signs unless 60% of congressmen and Senators vote against the wishes of the chief executive.
-Judicial: Three justices are appointed by the Grand Duke or Duchess to the Supreme Appellate Court and oversee all appeals cases
-Special Ducal Court: If the Grand Duke or Duchess strongly disagrees with a Court decision, they may override it in a Special Ducal Court. However, the monarch may only do so on seven occasions during their reign,.

Kedri is a democratic monarchy that borders on anarchy.

The Pirate King is both the head of state and head of government. He is elected by the Pirate Council for life. There is no clear separation of powers and Kedri does not have a judicial branch, so issues are solved through either a duel, a pirate battle, or bribing someone to support you. In Kedri, might equals right.

The King appoints a Pirate Lord, who is second- in- command and is a regent. He only has real power when the King is not present.
The Pirate King is the executive head and enforces laws, which there are very few.

The Pirate Council consists of nine council captains who elected through First Past The Post majority rule. They also serve their positions for life

Though the Council is not required to obey the King and vise versa, often both sides try to bribe each other to get their way.

Though positions are for life, pirates can be removed from power. For example the Pirate King can go through what is known as a "Dethroning" where if the majority of the Council votes to remove him from power, he is no longer King. The council captains can also remove each other from power using the same process. Of course, when a council captain is removed, the Kedrians elect a new one.
Kedri is a nation of 18th century pirates who know water-bending. Throw in some steampunk, as well. Tech level is PT/FanT.
Kedrians abandon piracy and become a modernized country, founded by reformed criminals who forsook piracy and the citizens are descended from pirates, and still retain some of their heritage such as speech, accent, politics.
