Folding stock, removable/reachable barrel a la survival rifle style. Have a rail on the side to store the barrel/ hold onto it and ta da.

Alternatively, issue a short magazine for initial use and have the longer mags in webbing for after the first mag has been expended. A 30 round mag would be a better long mag than what you currently have, though.

Fear not, I'm well aware that forty round aRchPK magazines do not at all mix with PDWs. It'd be issued with either twenty round 7x33mm magazines or twenty-five round 7x24mm mags.

The suggestion was bit of a joke, in part because it's one of the better (if ridiculous) weapons of Last Light, and in part because a PDW with RPK mag is simply too absurd to be serious.

Its largely going to be 1970s era British kit, actually getting a deactivated L1A1 SLR that also comes with a 58 Pattern Rifle Supporting Socket (a pouch to rest the rifle in and carry it almost hands free).

UK. I don't have an olive shirt, but I do have one of those itchy jumpers. I also have a tan mess shirt (or at least that's what I'm told it was).
