New Anti-Nuclear Defense System

Today the Department of Civil Defense declared a new anti-nuclear defense operational. This new defense system will be able to shoot down all kinds of missiles before they even enter Qubec airspace. This system is the only one of its kind and most of its abilities are classified. This system has been installed in over 100 cities. But the names of those cities are classified. A new system of sirens has also been installed in all cities in Qubec. They will be used to warn citizens of a nuclear attack. The Department of Defense said that there will be more to come in order to fully protect the Qubec people from invasion and nuclear attack. A new law has also been passed requiring all building new and old to have a nuclear bunker.

With the most recent mass mobilization exercise no finished, the Emperor has called all, except five fleets, back too their original ports. Ending the mass scare that was the entire Imperial Military mobilized, however currently only five fleets still have not been called back.
The 5th, 17th, 9th, 12th, and The 20th Fleets have been sent into the North Atlantic for unknown reasons, the entire concentration of ships has an unknown purpose, and is only known too the Emperor, It is going too be commanded by the recently recovered Grand Admiral Chira.

Earthquakes Shake Alma, Qubec

Today an earthquake ranking 5.9 on the Richter magnitude scale an earthquake struck the city of Alma, Qubec. There have been reports of over 50 aftershocks.Only 4 people were injured and 1 person died. There is only minor damage to older buildings and roads. Scientist say that this earthquake is a sign that Mt. méchant, a local volcano, is getting ready to erupt and could any day now. Scientists are stationed on the volcano and are conducting more research. The local Emergency Center has not issued any evacuations, warnings, or watches.

Tornado Kills 10

This morning and EF 4 tornado touched down in the city of Montreal. The tornado lasted about 20 minutes and caused about 500 million dollars in damage. A total of 10 people have been killed, 59 people injured, and 100 people are still missing. It is estimated that over 1 million people are homeless. The Emergency Alert System and tornado sirens were activated 15 minutes before the tornado hit. The local National Guard has been dispatched to help with the search and rescue. More details will be released later in the day so stay tuned.

As of June 20th, when this article was published informing the world about the seizure of lebensraum for the PoF, there has been much discussion on whether or not the Patriots of Freedom, who are known for their heraldry, nobility and honor, as well as many notorious guerrilla attacks on tyrannical governments, could function as a legitimate nation.

The skeptics said no, and few allied stood beside them.

Despite being a legitimate political party internationally (with affiliates inChiChi Empire, Triumphant Fascist Kingdom of A War Lord and Zatak) the PoF has been decried as a terrorist network, incapable of organization and rule.

However, these allegations are dead wrong. The seizure of an island, just west of the coast of the TFK, at first sparked outrage. But since that time, the TFK and Zatak have both officially recognized the PoF as a sovereign nation. The leader of the nation, who is also the leader of the network, Rahman Kremetz, had this to say earlier,

"This is a big move for our little organization. Rest assured that the world will have less pain because we are here. Some very bad men in UNiS will fall on hard times, I am sure."

It is unclear just who Kremetz, known as the Chief of Operations, was alluding to but if history is any indicator, they will likely rue the day.

Earthquakes in Alma Increase

Earthquake in the Qubec city of Alma have been increasing in number and size. These earthquakes come days after scientists warned that a local volcano could erupt any day. These earthquakes have not cause ant major damage but is a reminder about the volcano. The local emergency center has issued a earthquake watch reminding citizens to remain alert and know what to do in the event of an earthquake.

Head Chairman Garret Walker arrested

Today Head Chairman Garret Walker was arrest for a murder (In the red tie). He apparently murdered 21 year old Harry turner at his home in the capital before he fled the country for digging to deep into a government scandal. He could face life in prison, he has been impeached by the council, and elections for a new Head chairman will be held soon. This has been the first major political arrest in Chichian history. The court says this should be a very quick and impressive case.

New Head Chairman elected! Big surprise

Today Chichi Empire held their first Head Councilman election since the change in the nation. The new leader of Chichi Empire, a Transgender (MTF) female, part of the gay party of Chichi Empire. This made history today, there has never been a transgender ruler in the nation. Many people are excited for this kind of thing while others aren't. Since the election there has been more of a presence of Anti-LGBTQ+ protesters outside the government building, along with that is more security of the government building. Today she said she hopes to make a better society and peoples in the country and that she is proud to serve such a wonderful nation. On her agenda is lowering the eco emissions in the nation by 20% and making the CO2 tax go up by 10.35% which didn't make the capitalist happy, but the green party is pleased. Also on her agenda is making it easier for Transgender people to change their documentation and ID's.

BREAKING NEWS!!! Joffrey Baratheon Has Been Found

Former King Joffrey Baratheon has been found alive. The Kingsguard was searching for him near the Great Forest in the capital when he was found unconscious under a tree. He has been transported to the Royal Palace and is being treated by the Royal families personal doctor. He went missing in the middle of the Qubec - RavenForce war. Not much more is known about this situation. More information will be released at a later time.

King Tyler Dethroned?

With the return of Joffrey Baratheon, who was king at the time he went missing, King Tyler must be removed from the throne. Due to Qubec law the oldest brother must take the throne. Joffrey is 19 and Tyler is only 16. After Joffrey went missing as the next eldest son Tyler took the throne. But now the Joffrey is back Tyler must step down and return the crown to Joffrey. Qubec is once again ruled by His Majesty King Joffrey.

Zatakian Forces Invade Cyprus

Zatak-After getting confirmation for over 5 hours, the Zatakian government finally confirm that Zatakian forces have entered and landed on Cyprus territory, however, the reason remains unknown. However, many believe it is an invasion to annex more territory for Zatak. Local reports and on the ground images have also confirm that Zatakian forces have landed and are moving into Cyprus rapidly.

As of now, the only information available from the Zatakian government is at 11 PM, August, 7th, 2014, a Zatakian naval task force lead by the carrier RZNS Magus entered Cyprus waters and advances towards the mainland. The group which consisted of the destroyers RZNS Alpha, RZNS Omega, RZNS Garnet, frigates RZNS Jackson and RZNS Artus, along with a number of Mine Countermeasures Ships(MCM) and Auxiliary ships advanced into Cyprus waters without resistance until around 12:05 when the Cyprus government demanded the Zatakian forces to leave.

According to the Cyprus government officials, 20 minutes after entering Cyprus waters, the purpose of the force became clear as around 18 Eagle V4 fighters declared a no fly zone over Cyprus and declared any attack on them would be seen as a act of war on Zatak. The Zatakian task force began a coastal bombardment on Cyprus resulting in the death of 12 members of the Cyprus National Guard and the destruction of all 4 FPB 30M class patrol boats.

A assault force consisting of around 4,000 Troops from the 16th Tactical Assault Group and a number of CC-8V8 tanks and vehicles landed on Cyprus. A number of military installations where bombed including the Headquarters of the 20th Armored Brigade and 8th Infantry Brigade.
Shortly after, Zatakian forces began assaults on the cities on Limassol, Larnaka and Famagusta which had been heavily bombed by fighters jets. The Zatakians claimed to have sucessfully captured the cities.

After 6 hours of massive fighting, Zatakian forces advance into the country with heavy resistance. The army and air force of Cyprus has been severely damaged.

Locals report that Zatakian armor units throughout the country claim that Zatakian forces are trying their best to provide food, water and medical aid while fortifying their own position.

No responses have yet been made from the international community officially, however, President Thieu of Vietnam states that, he condemns such move, done by the Zatakian government. Mediterranean Vietnam has been put on high alert, and the 2nd Naval Fleet of the Vietnamese Navy has been moved to the island of Crete while the 3rd Navy has been rerouted to Greece.

Long thought defunct terror network resurfaces! Attacks invading zatakian troops!
The network known as the Patriots of Freedom was thought to have gone into desolation and decay after the collapse of their greatest ally, the TFK. However, reports from the former cyprus island show that they are still around, still strong, and still violent.
The PoF claimed the island on june 20th and had been sustaining itself therein until zatakian aggressors landed.
Just days after the troops landed numerous minor attacks, previously thought to be unconnected, started up but today was different. Three separate cars exploded on Waterbridge st., killing dozens of civilians a purportedly afew zatakian invaders.
The PoF demands full withdrawal of zatakian forces. Chief of Operations, Rahman Kremetz said that zatak was one an ally, and this is likely to end that though a full withdrawal would prevent full decay of the relationship.

Very Liberal indeed

In the past years Chichi Empire has been a very liberal country unless under dictatorship, but I believe that this is the most liberal thing the country has seen. Voting age. citizens now of the age 15 and up are allowed to vote in any election, the law books have stated that you must be 18 years of age to vote. Chairwomen Cynthia says "We hope by lowering the voting age we will be able to get more people into politics because we are seeing a decline in voting over the years. We hope by doing this will boost the polling numbers and outcomes." Some conservatives in the country are not easy on this due to the fact that people will no longer be ID'd to vote because by law you must be 21 years of age or older to receive an ID. The minorities are happy because they will no longer need an ID to vote.
