Marriage in your nation?

In the United Covenant, the marriageable age is 18. Homosexual marriages are legal, but polygamy and incestuous marriages are banned. The procedure for a marriage is usually as follows:

First, the couple goes to a governmental office to fill out some paperwork, making them legal partners. At this point, they can also apply for a larger residence in order to support a family.

What happens afterwards is up to the couple, so long as it doesn't break our nation's laws. Lower class citizens usually have a small gathering of those close to them to celebrate. Higher class citizens usually have large ceremonies to commemorate the marriage, which sometimes have up to a hundred people in attendance.

Divorce in the United Covenant is legal, but strictly controlled, as the United Covenant needs its citizens to support large, healthy families in order to guarantee a new generation of workers.

Anyone of the age of 16 or older can get married. However, no one in Nemo island is married because of partner culture of the island. In Nemo island, anyone can date/see or hook up with anyone for any period of time as they want and to have kids if they choose to. Also, there is no marriage form to file in Nemo Association. That mean no divorce too, but there are civil dispute court to solve all domestic disputs. The court meanly solve issues such as the right to take care of the children should a couple split-up, or cheating compensation, or domestic violence cases.

Legal marriage age in Costa Brilla has recently been lowered to 18 from the previous age of 21. Gay marriage is legal across all of Costa Brilla, although polygamist and incestuous couples are still fighting for their right to marry.

The legal age to marry is 16 in Koderland, although laws concerning the age of consent (17) must still be met. Homosexual marriage is legal throughout the country. Polygamous marriages are technically legal but are very hard to enter into as one marriage cannot follow another within a year and there are many legal obligations all parties must share. There are no laws concerning incestuous relationships in our country, although they are taboo. No animal, child or inanimate object may enter into a contract and therefore it is illegal to marry any of them.

There's only two restrictions to civil marriage in Tsvarchi:

All parties must be mentally competent, and consent to the arrangement.

That means opposite sex, same sex, polygamous, incestuous, etc arrangements are legal should the above be satisfied.

No, civil marriage to animals is not allowed, as they are not considered mentally competent and are unable to give consent. Unless of course they're sapient, then by all means go ahead.

The Marriageable age in the Confederacy is 19. Marriage is legal for unrelated couples of opposite gender. While a couple states have recently legalized same sex marriage. Incestuous marriages are outlawed in all states.

While it is not a requirement, and couples can marry outside of the church, it is highly common to marry religiously as opposed to civil.

Any two things, as long as they are of age and both of them agree, can get married. If the thing you are marring is not sapient, or even sentient, they all you need to be is the owner of it. (IE Marrying your cat, Marring your car, ect.)

The government doesn't endorse marriage for anybody in accordance with the Religious Separation Act of 1992. Instead, civil unions are legal for all couples and polygamous groups except for sibling and parental incest.

residents are allowed to get married at the age of 20, only heterosexual marriage recognized. A man can only has 4 wives maximum.

Marriage is very simple in the Klishi Islands: you can do whatever you want over the age of 16. Homosexual and heterosexual marriages are both completely legal, and polygamy/incest are both legal (although incest is highly discouraged due to the genetic problems). Also, if people are stupid enough to get married to their pets they can do that as well.

Lower class weddings are small affairs, only attended by friends and family, whilst upper class ones are elaborate social occasions, and are very fancy and attended by many people, one part of a wedding that stays the same is the "First night", in which the couple are expected to "go to bed" on the first night of the marriage, to consummate it

anyone over the age of twenty is free to marry any consenting of-age partner they wish.

Usually the signing of the marriage license is incorporated into the wedding ceremony itself, but couples can opt for a no-ceremony procedure down at the courthouse. All you need is two witnesses and it's considered valid.

Marriage is non-existent as a legal concept in the Imperium, deemed obsolete for all practical purposes. For people who are quite literally manufactured rather than born in a nation where even their bodies are state property, marriage and family serves no reproductive or economic purpose.

Marriage is also abolished because it creates loyalties other than to the state.

Of course, informal relationships aren't forbidden, merely lacking any legal recognition. Romantic engagements in Sidh society are largely limited to casual sex encounters anyway, though many still choose to establish long-term relationships.

There's no government to sanction marraige, so you can be married to whom or whatever you say you are. However, cultural values compell people to stop the marraige of a child considered "under the age of consent", Usualy 15.

You are able to marry freely at 25+, anything under then you must gain consent from the parents of yourself and the parents of your wanted partner.

Incestuous marriage is NOT ALLOWED
Polygamous marriage is NOT ALLOWED
Homosexual marriage is ALLOWED
Traditional marriage is ALLOWED

Marriage is normal in Soled like many other nations. While there still are religious marriages (church, mosque, temple) most marriages are Humanist marriages, due to the low presence of religion.
You can marry freely at 20, while you can marry at 16 if both persons' parents agree, which rarely ever happens.
