Yes! When I first created my nation, I kind of wanted to oppress my citizens, but now that I know how the game works, I built my nation around my politics.

My nation is more or less a 1st world version of North Korea, except with crap loads of propaganda, no private enterprise and equality for all except with the Dear Leader and when in the military where a rank system still applies.

I'd like it. May even like to live there too.

Speaking out of character here? Then, hell, no! My country is a Stalinist police state ruled by a very psychotic dictator.

my country is supposed to reflect my own idea of a utopia so of course I'd want to be a citizen of my own nation, It's being ruled by a Talking Lucario which is of course incredibly awesome and the entire country is addicted to anime. so yes, If I were a citizen of my nation I'd probably be very happy. not to mention that my country is communistic. And if I were to be the national animal of Jalanat then I'd never want to leave my country :lol2:

wouldn't want to live in the Nous Province though, riots are everywhere out there.

My nation is not like my nation page at all, it contradicts itself, we don't EVER eat kangaroos, that's just very sad. Also vegetarianism is compulsory yet it still says it's the nation's favourite main course and all and stuff.

If I could choose between living in my NS country vs. my real country, I'd take my NS country in a heartbeat. It's magnificent.

Imagine yourself waking up one morning to find yourself in a cell, staring at a brushed concrete ceiling, and hearing a voice say, "Hello and again, welcome to the Aperture Science Computer Aided Enrichment Center. We hope your brief detainment in the relaxation vault has been a pleasant one. Your specimen has been processed and we are now ready to begin the test-proper."

No, I don't think so. I really don't think so.

Despite its flaws, I wouldn't mind living in the Dekerin Domains. I'd miss milk and cheese, however. :p On the other hand, I'd get laid a lot and I doubt that that I would have to worry about crime. The public floggings tend to discourage it.

Macureus would be ideal...but I doubt that I would be a common citizen. I'd be snapped up and co-opted into the Logical Council as quickly as possible....which would make it even better. And Macureans share my germophobia, which makes it even better.

I would never live in Stoklomolvi. While sure, everything is cheap and virtually everyone is intelligent, it would be like living as a citizen in Brave New World. Your life is not yours; it is the state's.

Not to mention policemen riding in APCs/IFVs around streets, with men armed with rifles being a common sight on a Sunday morning.

Possibly, Yes, I may wish to become a common citizen in my nation. But I want to work on increasing public happiness in my nation - which is a low.

Hell yes, in a heartbeat.

A perfect mix of political, personal and economic freedoms sounds like fun to me. You can smoke what you want (inyour own home or in open spaces), have sex with whomever you want (provided that they're over the age of consent) and say what you want (provided you don't espouse treason).

All i'd want would be some form of social safety net; however, the Empire's economy rolls along so quickly that it's almost unnecessary anyway.
Fuck it all. Let the world burn - there's no way roaches could do a worse job of being decent than we have.

Well i made this my ideal nation, but my idea of "ideal" includes flaws, shortcomings and disappointments. It also depends if my nation existed in the real world or if i was living in it in NS. I would not want to live in the NS world. If it had any trace of reality every living thing would probably be quickly engulfed in a toxic, irradiated smog. On Earth though, probably not right now as a citizen because i would have much fewer political rights - having said that, i'd probably enjoy working there.

Arivada makes a good point (somewhere in that mangled English): Would you want to be the leader of your nation or an ordinary citizen of your nation? I deliberately made Fatatatutti such that there is no difference.

Of course not. It's ruled by Fascists.
"It is high time for ballots, and not bullets. For bread and butter, not tanks treading on foreign streets. For reform, for schools, for more police on the beat, instead of building up a massive war machine used only to bully our neighbors. Even if the nation I created is a fascist military autocracy, I wouldnt mind it to much. The levels of freedoms enjoyed and so forth by the citizenry, even with the cultural aspects being so different then where I am now, I think I could live there pleasantly enough.
