Slavia was split into a western and eastern part before it was united (the eastern was socialist). So far only two flags have been used for the united slavia. The current one, and one without the shield and extra ornaments.

[Avaerilon]

Avaerilon has used a number of different national flags over the course of its history, shown below.

Used exclusively during the year 793 A.D., this flag was essentially used by Arthur to denote his armies and places loyal to him. It can be thought of as the pre-Avaerilon flag of the realm which would become Avaerilon. It shows the pentangle, the symbol used by Arthur (healing, nature, magic, infinity), on a black field; essentially to show the light of the united peoples in the dark that was the Saxon-Orc invasion.

This was the first true flag of Avaerilon, used between the 3rd of July 793 A.D. (when the nation was formally created) and 1087. It shows the green dragon (yr Amdrag Delwdd), the personification of Avaerilon.

Between 1088 and 1154, the flag changed to a white unicorn on a deep purple field. The unicorn had come to be a popular image of Avaerilon, and was often equated to the kingdom's freedom and resolve, with the field obviously connoting bravery. This flag was chosen at a time when Avaerilon's neighbours were at-war with it, mostly over the influence of Avaerilon's language and various religions.

Changed in 1154 to celebrate a change in the way Avaerilon was governed, and by the adoption of the name "Williams" by the royal family, the new flag of Avaerilon appeared strikingly modern. The four isles of Avaerilon are directly represented, and the pentangle makes a return. This design was used until 1407, when the sparks of the Avaerilonian Renaissance began.

For a short period between 1407 and 1432, this bold and striking flag became Avaerilon's banner. It was felt that Avaerilon ought to be represented by its most popular and iconic mascot, the Green Dragon, but also that the field should represent the sea, as Avaerilon was now a kingdom made-up of kingdoms in various places. The golden laurel wreath was added to suggest that Avaerilon was the spiritual successor to Rome as the next great civilisation.

Lasting from 1432 until Avaerilon's monarchy became non-hereditary in 1796, this flag was an evolution of its predecessor, with the same background and the Green Dragon again appearing. However, it featured the Royal Crown of Avaerilon for the first time, and the symbol used by many to depict the Avaerilon Renaissance, which had truly begun (the rose-thorn cross) and with it brought a new Bill of Rights and increased democracy.

After the death of Robert the Bard in 1796, it was felt that Avaerilon, to truly embrace its new status as an elected monarchy, needed a new flag. The unicorn returned with the traditional Avaerilonian colours, with a saltaire to represent a nation spread over four corners. It remained in-use until 1884.

The Liberal government of 1884 decided that Avaerilon's flag needed a refresh to show yet more changes, and the Silver Stag, another popular symbol of the country, was chosen. The colour-scheme remained much the same, but a cross was added to show the bravery and strength of the Avaerilonian people, and the pentangle was once more employed. This flag lasted until 2012.

In-recognition of a Williams ascending to the throne for the first time in over 200 years, a referendum was held and the country chose to change the flag to celebrate their new king. The Green Dragon, His Majesty's symbol and His People's, returned, with an enlarged pentangle.

When we were an English colony, we just used the St George's Cross as our flag. When we declared our independence, a whole bunch of flags were used by the various militias and settlements, but the cross used by Milldale, the Waspeaterian Cross, became the most loved and so the provisional national flag. After our final split with England, we put the St George's Cross back to show our English heritage.

The original colonial flag was a simple field of blue, the same shade as our current flag. The white circle, black circle and crescent were all added later, to distinguish ourselves further from the other colonial settlers.

From that point until 2171, the UN and then later the UEG flag became the Pax In Terra which would symbolize Humanities resolve to form around peace instead of war. In 2171, the UEG officially adopted a far more appropriate flag, the Glory of Sol which stands as the official national flag for the Human race.

The Wings of Suzua have been used to represent Nambirithen for all six thousand years it has existed. Many variations existed, but that was the most common. The black and white version of the flag seen above was adopted after the country was reeastablished after the Safavids liberated/conquered the region from the Timurids, the colours were changed to red, blue and black in the fifties, and the current version of the flag, rotated ninety degrees from the previous version, was adopted in the eighties.
