In vino veritas? But I've been drinking tequila and gin, so I can't assure you that it's the truth.
I'd be fine with adding it, but I can't quite make an entire section with one post. If people can give me five or six entries to add to an FAQ section, I'll make one.

Good to know. Meaning, the way this is looking, I'd at most fit 2-4 guys back there, for urban combat against insurgents only - when you'd pretty much not be firing the cannon more than a couple times and when it's generally a good idea to transport guys in something that can take IEDs like a champ.
Just use the namor. There is litteraly no excuse for you to sacrifice the ammunition to carry a few troops, with minimal equipment when you can field a heavy IFV without lossing the benifit of protection.

The Nazis were stupid. They thought coming up with endless designs of bigger and better tanks was somehow gonna help them win.
While they did help, what they really needed was more men, a better air force, and better production capabilities.
Or a nuke.
Which they did come dangerously close to getting.

Hence why Maus ever existed, why it was to be upgunned. Why the Ratte was proposed and why the Me.262 was held back as a fighter by conversion to fighter-bomber role.

Germany was desperate for advanced fighter aircraft that could, on paper, outfight anything the allies had. Removing two of its guns, much of its ammunition and limiting its speed to carry just two bombs was, primarily, Hitler's doing and held back the aircraft.

And on the other hand, having a handful of fighters that can outfight just about anything and relying on aging dive bombers to exploit that was not exactly optimal either.

If you can make air superiority with your new jet fighters, your ageing dive bombers will be able to achieve their tasks a lot easier and take fewer losses.

Especially since what Germany needed at the time was not more interceptors to fight off the bombers in the west but more fighters to fight the Soviets in the east. Remember, the design process lasted since 41 and the bomber offensive only really got going in 43 by which time it was kind of too late to go back and redo the decisions with the benefit of retrospect.
And besides, with all its speed the 262 wasn't exactly the worlds best dogfighter. And even without any meddling by the time they could have brought up enough of them for anti bomber duties, which realistically still isn't before 1943 allied bombers would have had escort fighters.
